Seeing as the first thread is almost full, I thought I'd start a new one

For good measure, here is Monkseal's blog for this week.

i may be wrong but as the show is pre-recorded and they already know who has won, i reckon its ruby. there's been a few articles in the press over the weekend along the lines of 'no, i don't fancy paul hollywood', and the one poppy linked to, bbc are attempting to address the whole favouritism thing before the final airs.

Mary seems to be the one most annoyed about Frances's baking so I think it might be fair to say she doesn't tolerate beauty over taste, either!

I do find it funny that people are annoyed that PH said Ruby wasn't his type but are fine with her saying the exact same thing in a different interview this week (which has also been widely reported). Doubtless both of them were asked the question and replied in as polite a way as possible. I'm sure neither would have offered the information unprompted.

Having looked at a few of the reader comments on that link also find it funny that people keep on keeping on about the appearance of Ruby's shed (saying things like they could have baked it - I'm thinking not, actually) when it was clear that her cake was the only one that tasted ok - they had no choice but to make her star baker given that Kimberley's cake tasted bad and given the results of the technical challenge.

I see no obvious reason why Becca should go out tonight though, I'd've said Frances was in far more danger.

I don't think anyone on here had alluded to Ruby fancying PH, yes Daily Mail I'm looking at you because IT'S THE OTHER WAY ROUND ffs.

There have been plenty of accusations of mutual flirting all over the media, the internet and twitter. It's quite obvious neither one fancies the other. The only person even slightly flirty is Kimberley and that's clearly just 'her way' (extrovert).

Kimberley's cake didn't taste bad. PH said it was excellent iirc.

I would like Ruby to go.this evening - not because she deserves to as such but that would totally throw the competition open to-kimberly

I agree with Beca being the one most likely to go but we shall see

Right, I'm going to miss the first five minutes as the TV is being hogged by DS who wants to finish watching his thing first so I'll need a detailed running commentary please people

Mel & Sue just spoke French - beautifully! i just LOVE them

Oh & they're making canapes with lots of different pastries!

Anyone else feel really annoyed that they don't have any cakes, chocolate or biscuits to munch on whilst watching this? I'm eating grapes it's just not the same

The closest I can get to anything tasty is hot chocolate powder.

I might get a gin though, that will help.
