I know it's been shit for ages but its just dire atm. I'm a bit behind and stopped watching when bunhead Lauren was getting drunk. Switched back on and she's back from rehab. Was her rehab in the Maldives? I'm sick to the back teeth of her and joey. What a mockery they've made of teen drinking showing her recovered. She's a terrible actress.

Lucy is weird and for an eastender she's got a v posh accent. As has bobby. And Dennis. And Sharon.

And I really don't like how every victim of sexual abuse is portrayed as promiscuous. In one episode we see Kat dragging a guy into an alley for a quickie and Whitney getting into a car with strange men. Not every child victim is like kat and bloody Whitney. Utter tosh. I need another long break from it. I only came back to it cos corrie is terrible these days.

I can't remember why she went. I didn't watching properly back then. Although I remember the bipolar episode she did. That was hard to watch.

Can someone give me a refresher on Stacey so I know why they're all doing dramatic cat faces at the mention if get name?

I've got back into Eastenders since the new head guy took over. It's the best it's ever been imo. Loving the Slaters.

Didn't Stacey kill Archie or someone? You know how it is in soapland: bumping somebody off never leads to an exile longer than a few years, whether they abscond after the event or get banged up.

Yes Stacey killed Archie. Maybe Alfie is annoyed as Ronnie went a bit nutty after that so maybe that's also why she swapped babies?

Ie if dad/Archie wasn't dead then none of it would have happened

Oh yes I remember it now. Also not sure why Alfie would react badly. Surely that's a bit deep for Alfie to think along the lines of? Although the character development gas improved vastly recently. Everyone's a bit more layered and interesting.

I think Alfie may react badly because Kat keeps inviting weirdos and murderers back on to the square! She forced Ronnie to come back and now she'll want to find Stacey and bring her back too. Maybe Alfie doesn't want the extra drama in his life and its ruined his "romantic break" because Kat will go there and tell him to help find her.

Speaking of Ronnie, she killed Carl and left? Is that it? What was the point of that?

I too have seen the trailer where Alfie tells Kat that he isn't pleased that she wants to find Stacey. Perhaps he doesn't want any upset in his reunited family unit?

I have also wondered about Ronnie - she has gone to Ibiza with Roxy and has been gone for weeks!

Why on earth if you are on the run for murder would you come back and live round the corner from where your friends and family and murder happened

Blonde I too wondered why Stacey would move back to London when she is on the run - apparently this week she is due to turn up in the Square .

Her daughter is Ryan's (Whitney's brother). She was raped by Archie and thought he could be the father of her baby but it turned out that Archie was infertile, so she concluded that Ryan must be the father.

I don't know what Denise is doing with Ian - in Eastenders they can only have a relationship with their neighbours as they never meet anyone else .

How many people actually know that Stacey killed Archie though? She told Max, Jean, Roxie and Ronnie but Ronnie let her escape as she believed her about the rape, having also been a victim of Archie. There was a recording that Janine got hold of but Max had recorded over it. IIRC she actually went on the run because Janine stabbed herself and made it look like Stacey had done it, but Janine isn't around at the moment and is (probably) going to be found out over Michael. I don't think there is any proof, just hearsay. [takes it far too seriously]

Lisamummy1, the girl looked like a brunette. Both parents are brunettes. You can have Caucasian people (I think that's what you mean by white british) with olive skin tone, look at Cheryl Cole.

I have also wondered how they manage to do all their food shopping in the mini-mart! Carol did a 'big shop' a couple of weeks ago but she is the only person I have known to venture to a proper supermarket.

And you never see a Tesco or Sainsburys home shopping van, let alone the Cabbage Van

Corner shops/mini markets are always very over priced so def no one in we could afford to eat there for their whole weekly shop
