Wtaf is going on with eastenders??

I know it's been shit for ages but its just dire atm. I'm a bit behind and stopped watching when bunhead Lauren was getting drunk. Switched back on and she's back from rehab. Was her rehab in the Maldives? I'm sick to the back teeth of her and joey. What a mockery they've made of teen drinking showing her recovered. She's a terrible actress.

Lucy is weird and for an eastender she's got a v posh accent. As has bobby. And Dennis. And Sharon.

And I really don't like how every victim of sexual abuse is portrayed as promiscuous. In one episode we see Kat dragging a guy into an alley for a quickie and Whitney getting into a car with strange men. Not every child victim is like kat and bloody Whitney. Utter tosh. I need another long break from it. I only came back to it cos corrie is terrible these days.

I bloody hope so. I love the actress but the character is just a toxic panto baddie now and I was getting tired of it.

I am so Blush to admit this and totally eating my words but i really like danny dyer! He is more convincing as a real, thinking person when he is playing mick than in real life! Really shocked by this. He's been hiding that light under a bushel!

Poppy had lovely shiny hair though Grin I noticed that about DD last night too, when he was talking to his daughter with tears in his eyes. He plays the character with real intensity.

I was impressed how they dealt with Nancy's fit.
Why o why do eastenders characters just up and leave? No plans just leave in the middle of the night.

What's Ian going to say about the letter? The Denise/ Ian story line is so unbelievable anyway, I'm not sure I care!

I also heart DD! He is so fiercely protective of his children and then you hear about his background where Shirley tried to look after him and he was taken into care and...well I was welling up. Beautifully done.

I can't believe EE has gone from Janine is a cow/Alfie doesn't love Roxy/Gary Lucy has nothing to do etc into this great, gritty, character driven drama again.

I have not watch EE for many many years, but I've caught a few episodes since DD has been in it, and it is much improved. I might start watching again.

It's all very confusing though, in RL I think DD is a dick

yy to Nicky looking like Mandy Salter. Its been bugging me all week. I'm quite enjoying EE since the arrival of the Carters. I'd almost weaned myself off it as it had become so crap.

Yes the new exec producer Dominc Treadwell Collins has made his mark and has made it worth watching again.

Aunt Babe is obviously a catalyst for something, but it's great to see Annette Badland on the telly! What a great cast- Timothy West as well.
