I know it's been shit for ages but its just dire atm. I'm a bit behind and stopped watching when bunhead Lauren was getting drunk. Switched back on and she's back from rehab. Was her rehab in the Maldives? I'm sick to the back teeth of her and joey. What a mockery they've made of teen drinking showing her recovered. She's a terrible actress.

Lucy is weird and for an eastender she's got a v posh accent. As has bobby. And Dennis. And Sharon.

And I really don't like how every victim of sexual abuse is portrayed as promiscuous. In one episode we see Kat dragging a guy into an alley for a quickie and Whitney getting into a car with strange men. Not every child victim is like kat and bloody Whitney. Utter tosh. I need another long break from it. I only came back to it cos corrie is terrible these days.

How many bedrooms are there in the Jackson household? Last night Morgan asked if he could sleep in Liam's room, but Tiffany said he could sleep in hers, so that is 3 rooms. Then there's Carol's room and Bianca's room. I think Whitney shares with Tiffany but that makes 5! Downstairs is only a front room and a kitchen...

They borrowed the house off Doctor Who. It's a tardis. At one point there were about ten people living there and David still had his own room with a double bed in it.

Monty Mandy Salter was a wild teenager in the 90's, and I think returned for a bit a couple of years ago. On her more recent appearance she had a disastrous relationship with Ian. Her mum was a woman called Lorraine who was played by the actress who is now Shirley Carter.

Agree about the bedrooms but the Vic is like that as well and most of the other houses. The characters operate in parallel universe and most houses are devoid of all the clutter and crap that would invariably accumulate.

alemci I have also wondered how they keep their houses so tidy! The most clutter you ever see is maybe a few toys.

I think Nikki is supposed to live away from the square, so she can pop back as and when she feels like it. I did wonder why she thought it necessary to seduce David in her flight attendant outfit though!

Also, why does no-one own a washing machine? The entire household's laundry for a week or more can be stuffed into one bag for the launderette. When Sharon moved in with Phil she was whining that he didn't have a dishwasher, when most people would consider a washing machine to be a more useful item.

yes Monica, you never see any clothes horses or laundry do you. For example in the Vic how do they cope with 6 adults especially when Linda changes her outfit every 5 minutes and all the coats and shoes.

There is never any post lying around either or cups.

Has anyone else noticed that when they stand outside when it is raining, they don't get wet? Fatz and Masood were outside the Vic last night and it was clearly raining, the suitcase on the floor got wet, but they were both dry?

I think the actress who plays Carol is excellent - she had it spot-on last night when she was pointing out to David his failings as a parent 'it is never about you'.
