there is also WTA tennis on eurosport atm but i never seem to catch it live and when I put it on ita always Radwanska and Cibulkova match!.

Federer has withdrawn from montreal citing a back injury-rare for him.

dont know if rafas playing, havent heard hide or hair (or bum!) from him since Wimbledon .

and wheres Andy gone? must have finished his hols by now.

anyway cant wait for Monday!

A 'fault in area'. I even missed Doctors.

Apparently, Murray's back problem has surfaced again. Clearly clay does not agree with him.
Probably best GB stay out of the World group to be honest- we really don't have the depth of players to compete. We are totally reliant on the fitness of one player. Dan Evans may have had a good US open, but the test is backing those results up.

Thanks Raahh. Have Lemsip and chocolate so will be fine. I'm not so ill I can't do the stuff I need to do it's just if I'm going to sit around trying to find stuff to do I'd rather do that at home. Every other fucker did pull a sickie though.

Grrr about Virgin. We don't have any depth in men's tennis. It's fine in a singles tournament but in a group competition like this it's a bit rubbish.

I get so used to not being able to wear any make up to work that I very rarely put it on any more. People must hide from me all the time.

Metz starts tomorrow and Tsonga is scheduled to play- suddenly Wimbledon seems ages ago!

I think I've got it. The last singles matches become best of 3 not best of 5 if you've already won the series. Or something like that.

I have been in and out all day,and can't keep up with anything. And the Davis cup site is so annoying me.

I hope Tsonga is fit too.

Davis cup site drives me mad! Why can't they make it nice and easy for us and put it on the telly? Although if tennis was on the tv whenever there was a tournament, I guess I'd not get very much done!

Taking my ds1 back to uni tomorrow, there will be tears (mine obviously, not his).

I'm a rubbish mother. I forgot school clubs started today, so dd1 missed football (she wasn't fussed- it was raining). Ds was able to go to his club, but it did mean me making unnecessary trips. I am a numpty.

I'm hoping for a solid start from Tsonga when he plays his first match at the Metz tournament.
