Federer has withdrawn from montreal citing a back injury-rare for him.

dont know if rafas playing, havent heard hide or hair (or bum!) from him since Wimbledon .

This new site update's confusing me. I have the OP's posts highlighted but the OP itself only appears highlighted on the first page not at the top of every page. Today it's highlighted green at the top of every page on the thread. Couldn't work out why game was posting about the Roger's Cup.

At least the font/spacing issue seems to have been resolved. It looked wrong Luddite

Definitely thought I needed to go to bed last night when I logged back on and the font was weird. Couldn't figure out whether it was me or not.

I think tech might be too busy fixing the bits of the site he broke when he made those changes the other night .

Clay- you could be right. There have been loads of glitches, and multiple postings (that aren't Chaos related).

They might notice when it comes time to turn it into a hallowe'en emoticon, or a Christmas one. Though it could pass as a bauble.

There are lots of threads in site stuff. The font spacing has gone back to normal though. I'm gradually getting used to having the OP's first post highlighted in forest green at the top of every page. I haven't got confused about which page I'm on or thought it was part of the body of the thread for several hours now.

See, I don't have pages, I just have it as one continuous list. I'm useless with pages. When I am accidentally booted out, usually on my phone, it defaults to pages and it throws me totally So I don't get the op at the top thing either. But then, I've always been odd, and like to 'flip' the thread before i read it

I flip threads a lot on my phone. Rarely on purpose . I'm used to the OP I like it and do miss it when I'm on other forums. It's easy to see what the OP actually said without having to go all the way back to the start of the thread. I'm sure it used to be in pale blue though so it looked different from the rest of the page.

I'm not sure. I think Farley/Juan was the only person who name changed. Haven't seen seize about for a while either. College and the new baby must be keeping her busy.

Hello, still hanging around. Saw a great match yesterday - between ds1 and ds2! They don't generally get on too well so it was lovely to see them playing together.

How's you lot? Been reading lots of the MTF site, and almost every poster seems to be forever bumping into players at tournaments and getting pictures/autographs. I'm jealous curious as to how they all know where to hang out, I feel like there's a big secret everyone cept me is in on!

No idea, Juan. Don't think I even managed to bump into any players when I went to Wimbledon. Certainly didn't get any autographs. Although I think there is a place where you can queue up to get autographs.

Me neither Clay, best story I can come up with is when I went to Wimbledon with my best friend when we were about 17 and Roscoe Tanner drove passed us and winked at us. I say "us" but she was blonde and shapely so I"ll leave you to draw your own conclusions!

Oh - at the time he (Roscoe) had the fastest serve in the game at 100mph! How things have changed!

We did see the Williams sisters warming up on one of the outside courts so were literally metres away from them. They certainly can hit a ball.

I went to the same school as Heather and used to help out with reading in her class when she was in year 1. Not sure that really counts though.

Bet the Williams girls were impressive to watch - you don't fully comprehend the speed and power on tv do you?

I think you should get in touch with Heather and remind her how hard you worked on her behalf, and as a thank you could she get yourself and some close friends (that's us by the way) into any tournaments please?!

My Dad knows her and her mum quite well as he plays at the same tennis club as she does when she's at home. Might have already tried the ticket thing.

You have to subscribe to the Davis Cup site to watch the live tennis. Though it might be too good to hope for.

What happened to the good old days when the beeb showed Davis cup.

I feel like shit today, everything hurts. Finished almost all the work for this week yesterday but still have to go in to sit around and do nothing when I'd much rather be tucked up under a blanket. Tennis to come home to would have made today much better.
