there is also WTA tennis on eurosport atm but i never seem to catch it live and when I put it on ita always Radwanska and Cibulkova match!.

Federer has withdrawn from montreal citing a back injury-rare for him.

dont know if rafas playing, havent heard hide or hair (or bum!) from him since Wimbledon .

and wheres Andy gone? must have finished his hols by now.

anyway cant wait for Monday!

Naked testing? I am in... This needs to be carried out on every male player in every tournament. I am starting a petition to have it shown live on Tv as well, so we are all clear the players are fit, we have seen it all with our own eyes!

Hallo lovely tennis ladies!

If there is to be naked testing I am going to be a tester!

Am not watching any of the tennis as have neither Sky nor Eurosport.

Being retired, I'd spend far too much time in front of the TV if I did.

I wonder if Fed is contemplating retirement? He's had some awful defeats post Wimbledon.

Am going to be away fron TV for all the US open as well - but as I'll be with DS & DIL I'm not too fussed.

Am not a gran yet - aching to be!

Retired quite early, due to DH being ten years older than me.

And we vowed never to watch daytime TV - apart from Wimbledon or absolute 'one-offs' like coronations!

I know too many people of my age who spend (IMHO) far too much time in front of the TV & have become very isolated due to this.

If ill or disabled it is obviously a different matter.

So Sky/euro sport would be too much temptation for me!

Llodra, Benneteau and Gilles Simon are all out. Only Gasquet left in the interesting French players. When is Andy playing? Today?

I watched Gasquet play in Metz (local to me) a few years ago. It's an ATP 250 so not massive (though Tosonga plays there too). Anyway, Gasquet, after his match, was called up for some presenter/crowd interaction. He basically shot a tennis ball or three into the crowd and those who caught it were invited down to play a few shots with him. It was kind of fun. Seemed like a nice guy, but he was trying to improve his image after the cocaine scandal. So he might have been a twat pretending to be nice.

Nadal is playing in the doubles as well, this time, with Anduja- sadly they beat Ferrer/Lopez ,but it's a good start to getting back on track. I like watching Nadal play doubles. Djoko safely through to the third round.

Just wish I had chance to watch it all

Just looking up scores, and Murray is playing Granollers now- 5-3 in the first set.

Nadal up next, and then Del Potato. (probably middle of the night uk time)

oh dear, Andy, whats happened? 1st set almost a doddle, then Marcel comes back for the 2nd and now Andys 4-2 up.

drives me mad this guy, just cant watch him he makes me nervous!

Oh they've out the Berdych match on here, but the French are none to keen on Nadal.

Berdych gets the itches too round the front but when hes not doing that I love watching him play, hes got an old fashioned 50's/60's cleanline look about him.

and im with the French on nadal too!! I like Uncle Tony though!
