I don't think Fed has anything other than the tour. He hasn't got the personality of a McEnroe or Becker to be a commentator. Playing the seniors is probably beneath him. It's a bit sad really.

I really, really need an early night. DD2 had me up most of the night, and the dcs (even dd1, who is usually up with the birds) slept late this morning. We will struggle in the morning. So, no chance of 'watching' Nadal, as he's on at midnight. I just have to hope I wake up to a good result. Might see the Ferrer result, and possibly Fed.

I'm hoping for a Djok/Nadal final. A Nadal/Ferrer final would have been better, but they are scheduled to meet in the semi finals, if I've worked that out properly. A Nadal/Federer final would have great- but they meet in the quarters.

Of course, they all have to get through the next matches.

I'm glad the top players are all still there in the second week(apart from Del Potato, of course). It's nice for lower ranked players to beat the top flight ones of course, and makes a good story, but they so rarely back it up, that it makes the next rounds a bit dull.

I think it's going to nadal/Murray. Murray to win. He's on a roll.

Nadal is on a better roll, I think. He's won 2 hard court tournaments back to back, where Murray lost early on. Even Djokovic sees him as the one to beat.

Yes, Chub- that's the one I use. I find it easier to use the printable version than faff with looking at individual quarters, though. easily confused
