Homeland! It's almost time!

Well, when I say almost what I mean is the 29th September in the US, and I think we were a week behind last series so early October - roll on the Autumn.

. One of the comments says that at the end Brodie says in Arabic "I am a muslim lost in this world..help me come clean again".

I CANNOT wait. I've missed Carrie so much. And Saul. Anyone sad enough to join me in the anticipation?

Bit late to this thread but here goes...!

I thought the Dana thing at the end was word and as a mum you wouldn't let it happen, but perhaps there's a an element of 'if you love someone let them go' about it (albeit I'd want to know where and when she'd be getting in touch again at the very least).

I have no idea what to think about Saul. I don't think he's proper bad but I think there's a darker side there that we've not seen much of yet.

I'd lay money on Carrie & Quinn boffing by the last couple of episodes just in time for Brodie to make a surprise return.

Hated Quinn to begin with...seriously changing my mind this seriesGrin .

Is was definitely positive, as were the ones on the drawer. But how? She hasn't been home often enough to pee that much.

What's the point of the pregnancy if it's not Brody's?

I am getting a bit worried now that the happy ending of Brodie and Carrie growing old together in that lake house is never going to happen. The ending is probably going to be a suicide pact between them or something.

I don't think the baby could be liquor store guy's as she wouldn't have had time to amass that impressive collection of pg tests would she? She shagged him and then got carted off to the hospital a couple of days later and she's only just been let out. According to the Guardian blog, it's supposed to be about 3 months on from the bombing, so the timing would fit I think.

Didn't they say at the beginning of this season at the hearing that the Langley bombing had occurred 5 months ago? So it has to be at least a month later now. So if Carrie is meant to be pregnant with Brodie's child she'd be about 6 months pregnant by now. She would definitely know that she was pregnant and would not need to keep testing. So think has to be from two night stand guy, but as someone else said how would she have amassed all those tests. And more importantly, why the fuck keep them!

I think Dar is just as bad as Saul but perhaps is better at appearing to toe the party line.

I thought the bombing was 3/4 months rather than 5/6 months ago? Huge plot contrivance as surely they would have done a test in the hospital?

Carrie said during the lie detector test that it was March & the bombing was on 12th December, so 3 months!

Also if she was pregnant with Brody why would she fuck a random guy? Twice. It's not something I could ever imagine a pregnant woman doing. So I think it has to be from liquor store guy. And if that is the case what are we meant to think of all the other tests? I'm wondering if we are meant to think that Carrie has kept all the pregnancy tests that's she ever done, and she's had lots of occasions where it could be a worry/consideration (as in lots of random sex) and so that's why there are so many of them?

This series is definitely growing on me now. I thought the Javardi character was brilliant in his calm evilness tonight. Not sure where it'll go next though

My DH thought that too Rollergirl, that they were from all the pregnancy tests she'd ever taken! I thought they all showed positive though, so couldn't possibly have had that many abortions??

I thought the violence tonight was a bit much though!

OneDev: I rewound it back a few times on Sky Plus as thought was significant but wasn't sure why. The majority of the tests were showing as positive but there were also some negatives. The thing is though that those tests change over the course of time and only have a very current accurate reading. As in a further line could develop (to look like a positive reading) when it was actually negative to begin with.

If she is meant to be pregnant with Brody she would already know and so why would she have done a pregnancy test?

I took it to mean she kept checking & therefore taking the tests as she didn't really believe she was pregnant (as I did the first time, but I only took 3, not a drawer-full!!) & didn't consider it meant multiple pregnancies until my DH said it!

I have no idea what it means Grin

unitarian Pink means she weed on it properly. The bit you wee on changes colour (if you buy the expensive clear blue ones) so that you know you've got enough wee to get a good result.

The little window on the stick with a + means the test is positive

I've googled this and it's brody's (due to timescales) and she shagged liquor store bloke whilst pregnant as, knowing that she would be watched at this time (due to Brody and the bombing), she wanted to be known as having shagged a ginger guy so that when she produces a ginger baby it won't be thought of being child of a massive terrorist suspect. Also, returning to the liquor store guys overnight as she did a while ago backs up the baby story.

All the tests (and keeping them) are part denial/part carrie's quirky character I think.
