I am so excited!

DH takes over all catering for this fortnight (he does it at other times too) so I can plump my cushions, grab the handchange & get watching.

I'd like to be saying who I was putting my money on to win - but I really can't decide between Rafa, Federer Djokovitch & Murray.

I'd just say that it will be one of them and, sadly, I'd put Andy in last place.

Two weeks of tennis coming up!!

all I need now is for Ferrer to lose in his next round, and the tournament will be as good as over for me.

I GUARANTEE that if murray wins Wimbeldon this year for the rest of his days he will be dogged by the suggestion that he won by default because x (rafa/cilic/tsonga/whoever) had to withdraw from injury.

What's happened? In the hour it's taken me to get home from work they've broken Tsonga?!

I know chub, and really it has to be the years he has had the best chance, even before all these injuries.

Sharapova apparently made a comment about the court being "dangerous" earlier.

if I were a Wimbledon organizer I'd be most concerned at this weeks outcomes and how the tournament is progressing, re injuries and slippiness. it must raise questions

theyre going to move Wimbledon a week later start in a couple of years apparantly. but the players have proper shoes for grass, don't they?

question- Rogers been told he cant have gold soles on his shoes opposing the 'white' rule, so how come most of the girls are waering red or yellow knickers and getting away with it?

French Open earlier or Wimbledon later?

Grass is always more slippery than other surfaces. You quite often see players slip at Wimbledon. I can't remember a year when there have been quite so many injuries during the first few days though. Seven dropping out on the first day of the 2nd round must be unheard of.

I heard Wimbledon would be a week later. which would make it exactly coincide with the Tour de France : TV conflict for sure in our house.

Most of the ones who have crashed out were already carrying injuries

Thus more likely to slip in the first place
