I am so excited!

DH takes over all catering for this fortnight (he does it at other times too) so I can plump my cushions, grab the handchange & get watching.

I'd like to be saying who I was putting my money on to win - but I really can't decide between Rafa, Federer Djokovitch & Murray.

I'd just say that it will be one of them and, sadly, I'd put Andy in last place.

Two weeks of tennis coming up!!

Bring it on. Wine (pimms) & Grin

I think Delpo could be a real contender.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 27/06/2013 15:32

Uh oh. Just woken up from a nap and the radar has gone bonkers. I fear we are not going to get away without rain and earlier than expected.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 27/06/2013 15:35

Aargh mn playing up for me.

Rain might be here as early as 5pm.

Raahh · 27/06/2013 15:43

Just in time for Ferrer, probably Sad

OhYouBadBadKitten · 27/06/2013 16:11

:(

Raahh · 27/06/2013 16:44

Is it raining? I've just got back in, and one channel is showing covers on centre, another court has everyone with brollies- watching Dinitrov- the rainwon't help the slippingConfused

Raahh · 27/06/2013 16:47

Zemlja is putting up a good fight against Dimitrov. Heavens, at this rate, we'll lose the old guard and the new up-and-comers all in the first week!

FarleyD · 27/06/2013 16:53

oYBBK - spot on with the forecast!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 27/06/2013 16:53

Was v light rain but becoming a little heavier. Plenty of rain to come though so I expect more will have to stop.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 27/06/2013 16:54

It's about 15 minutes earlier than I thought Grin

BBMs · 27/06/2013 16:55

Good decision Dimitrov! I wouldn't risk playing if rain makes it more slippery...

FarleyD · 27/06/2013 16:55

Yes Raahh, everyone will go, leaving the way open for you and me in our new incarnations as tennis players Smile

FarleyD · 27/06/2013 16:56

15 mins earlier! You're sacked!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 27/06/2013 16:57

Closing the roof apparently.

Mn is v. Slow for me atm.

FarleyD · 27/06/2013 17:00

Is weather forecasting a hobby oYBBK, or what you do for a living?

Raahh · 27/06/2013 17:04

Farley- I like your thinking

I'm not sure I'm taller than the net though

Don't understand why they didn't decide to close the roof earlier.

Raahh · 27/06/2013 17:08

magi- I think it's because it takes solong, and it seemed like light drizzle. But it persisted. Once the roof is on, they won't be opening it again, I guess.

FarleyD · 27/06/2013 17:14

Well that's fine raahh cos I can't hit the ball for love nor money, we're only going to pretend whilst we access our fave players!

Chubfuddler · 27/06/2013 17:35

Ooh gasquet is through. I like him. If it can't be andy I want it to be him or ferrer

FarleyD · 27/06/2013 17:48

Oh I wish dh and ds2 would go away! I like watching tennis on my own!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 27/06/2013 17:52

They must have known heavier rain was coming - the radar was a bit bloody obvious!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 27/06/2013 17:53

Farley, Tis purely a hobby :) still learning all the time!

TheDoctrineOfAllan · 27/06/2013 18:12

But aren't the rules of the roof that they can only close it once the rain comes?

ladyr · 27/06/2013 18:24

Rafa and Federer out so Murray def in with a chance - love Wimbledon, sadly no luck with tickets this year...
