Our local fish restaurant does delicious Arbroath Smokies in a cheesy, tomatoey, creamy sauce - it's yum.

Sounds lush

PoppyWearer · 01/05/2013 19:06

I am so glad you all also think it's not as good this year. Where is the desire to win? None of them seem to care!

PoppyWearer · 01/05/2013 19:08

P.S. I vote Natalie because I think she just has the natural talent/palate. She probably needs taking under someone's wing in a professional kitchen though, I don't see her setting up a restaurant or whatever off the back of it.

They are rubbish this year, except Natalie, but I don't like her accent.

YoniConnect · 01/05/2013 21:05

Wahay! Here we go!

catwithflowers · 01/05/2013 21:05

Greg has annoyed me already with his 'Mitchilin starred chefs' Confused

Sunnywithshowers · 01/05/2013 21:06

Evening all.

I dreamt I was on Masterchef last night, standing in when one of the cooks bogged for a bit.

I failed to cook properly, but I did get the glad eye from Torode. Hmm

YoniConnect · 01/05/2013 21:08

John sniffy about Larkin's trout (never thought I would write that sentence)

Nat'lee all emotional....

imustbepatient · 01/05/2013 21:08

Bless her, "unless someone dies"!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 01/05/2013 21:09

Evening all.

imustbepatient · 01/05/2013 21:09

Oh boy, Natalie has caught Larkin's 'never cooked it before' disease. Will no one find a cure and save us...

BedHanger · 01/05/2013 21:09

Did anyone else get the feeling that Larkin was lying through his teeth when he said he really wanted to cook for the chef's table?

OhYouBadBadKitten · 01/05/2013 21:09

What's a chefs table?

Sunnywithshowers · 01/05/2013 21:10

Arf at 'go away baldy'

catwithflowers · 01/05/2013 21:10

Bloody hell, another dish never cooked before with Nat's grouse. And Dale's twice cooked rack of lamb. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE?

OhYouBadBadKitten · 01/05/2013 21:11

Dale hardly ever cooked rack of lamb. What have these guys done?

YoniConnect · 01/05/2013 21:11

At the risk of sounding ignorant... what's a fondant?

PoppyWearer · 01/05/2013 21:11

Ooh, Michael Caines!

musu · 01/05/2013 21:12

All of these are amateur cooks; none of them are amateur chefs. Imho a cook follows a recipe, a chef creates a recipe.

YoniConnect · 01/05/2013 21:12

I think Marcus Sneering looks like he's had botox!

Sunnywithshowers · 01/05/2013 21:13

I would eat that.

musu · 01/05/2013 21:13

That looks ugh

OhYouBadBadKitten · 01/05/2013 21:13

A bo dish???
