You do wonder why some entrants to the competition don't make sure they have mastered the basics and know by rote recipes for all the standard stuff which comes up over and over again.

Am rooting for Natalie and dale now. Just can't shake the feeling that Larkin is just a bit lacking in real care and oompf about what he is doing. A 'close enough is good enough' attitude. The others seem to work much harder and put far more care and effort in.

Did anyone catch what the two fillings in the pinched ravioli where?

I heard the bit about parmasan sauce and meat sauce made from bones but DD has a hacking cough and I poped through to her when they were talking filings.

Agree, reluctantly, about Larkin. It's all I've sort of done enough over precision. And again I cannot believe the amount of really basic stuff contestants have never cooked in this series.
