I work at Glastonbury Festival so I go in tomorrow for 10 days so will miss MM.

Am channelling Joan but in a (hopefully) modern way! Bodycon midi dress (my norks look massive!), very high heels, hair curled at the ends and tucked behind ears. Off to old fashioned posh steak restaurant (DH is a meat fiend) for martini and possibly some food .

The hotel have even lovely. Room upgrade and comp champagne (hic)!

I ate at the Smith & Wollensky's in New York years ago - no minor achievement for an ex vegetarian. I think I sank into a meat induced coma for a couple of days. Have a great time, I bet you look fabulous!

Accidental I imagine its difficult to channel any Mad Men character at Glastonbury (apart from Don's hippy teacher perhaps?). Enjoy!

I have an authentic NY hangover! I have walked along Madison Ave this morning feeling decidedly peaky.

A tip for you all. Visiting the Empire State Building with a hangover is not wise. The combination of travelling 86 floors in a lift plus the height and the views did not improve my condition.
