So excited. We're we starting to see cracks in the marriage last season? I hope we see more of Betty this time.

Oh god I am the same.

I need a chemical shower and a lobotomy to forget such shameful thoughts.

SorrelForbes · 30/05/2013 17:14

It's so wrong

That's why it looks so odd. I really like Pete, because he really suits his account role.

Loved that bit where he explained to Megan's father what he did.

Although I find Megan's mother irritating.

Kneedeepindaisies · 30/05/2013 20:44

You Pete Campbell lovers are all a bit odd.

TheAccidentalExhibitionist · 30/05/2013 21:07

He makes me feel a bit sick, he's got that nasty lip curl and sneer whenever he says anything. Perversely I love to see what he's going to do next.
In the past he's just been a terrible self centred character but they seem to be giving him more dimension so that we have some empathy for him.

MarshaBrady · 30/05/2013 21:10

I don't fancy him, but he's a great character.

Kneedeepindaisies · 30/05/2013 21:10

He's a great character and I am definitely liking him more than I have done in the past.

The thought of his receding hairline in bed with me makes me want to vomit.

MarshaBrady · 30/05/2013 21:11

The shaved hairline is so odd looking.

IdaBlankenship · 30/05/2013 22:08

I loved this episode. Betty back on form - I loved how honest she was with Don and how she managed to wrong foot him at the end. She was right, she wouldn't be able to hold his attention for long - no-one could.
Also loved Bob Bensons teeny weeny shorts.
The stabbing really took me aback, these flashes of unexpected violence (lawnmower I'm looking at you) are really unsettling.
Off to read T&L now!

Oh, don't tell me there's more? I can't be bothered to watch it now.

I was a bit bored with the LA story too. The dealings and machinations of SCDPCGC was worth it though. Some great moments with Cutler, Benson, Ginsberg and of course Joan and Peggy. I hope Avon does call!

Kneedeepindaisies · 07/06/2013 10:47

Well that episode was a bit blah.

I'm off to read Tom and Lorenzo. I'm preferring that to the actual TV programme.

TheAccidentalExhibitionist · 07/06/2013 16:27

So the actor playing Roger directed this episode and it was the most wooden acting I've seen from him. I wonder why? He looked distinctly uncomfortable in his skin, without his usual ease.
I did love the scene when he was taking the piss out of the small guy though, very funny.

Lighthousekeeping · 07/06/2013 18:11

It's lost it's wat. This season hasn't been Up to standard. The only one that got us excited was the Betty one I don't know what that says about us

TheAccidentalExhibitionist · 07/06/2013 18:40

I've loved pretty much all of the episodes, just not as much as I've loved the previous seasons. I agree it's lost it's way a bit though.

IdaBlankenship · 07/06/2013 20:41

It's still very good though, lots of great little moments (although the whole ep was a little underwhelming). I loved Peggy saving Joan's bacon at the end, and that they do have some rather uneasy solidarity. Also great last shot of Pete.

SquidgyMummy · 07/06/2013 20:49

I think they are spinning it out too much. Is this one not the last season?
Anything more would just be painful.
Maybe i am taking the titles too literally, but will it end with someone jumping out of the window?
Either Pete or Don methinks.

SorrelForbes · 07/06/2013 20:57

Totally OK with Don jumping but not Pete am bad person

Kneedeepindaisies · 07/06/2013 21:11

I loved T&Ls analysis of the Peggy and Joan moment.

Lighthousekeeping · 08/06/2013 08:33

Next seasons the last one. It really is time.

Do it's Harry Hamlin. Who knew ?!

EliotNess · 08/06/2013 08:35

A kid I taught was in last seasons. Or maybe the one before. Remember the English who came over and the ..? Lawn mower incident. There was a creepy young English guy in it. Kind if an assistant. Was my old pupil.
