So excited. We're we starting to see cracks in the marriage last season? I hope we see more of Betty this time.

Forgot it was Wednesday!! Only 20 minutes to go.

Lighthousekeeping · 29/05/2013 23:40

Well, that was worth staying up for Grin

That was the Mad Men I have been missing for so long. I loved it.

I watched episodes 8&9 back to back. Well... That's more like it Grin. Poor Megan and poor Peggy.

TheAccidentalExhibitionist · 30/05/2013 10:38

It's back to form! I think that was the best episode of the season yet.
I'm glad Peggy's relationship is over, they were mismatched.

It doesn't surprise me that Betty and Don got together, sex was the only good thing about their relationship. I suspect he would have left Megan like a shot if Peggy had wanted it.

Bob Benson- he's a sly one, he's definitely got a game plan.

DonDrapersAltrEgoBigglesDraper · 30/05/2013 10:39

Ooh, massively looking forward to this week now!

Does anyone else 'like' MM on Facebook? Some great pics. Luckily they are pretty good at not giving spoilers, but I do have to concentrate a bit to ensure!!

Don't reveal anything to me, please!! Talk in code if necessary. Grin

DonDrapersAltrEgoBigglesDraper · 30/05/2013 10:42

That Bob Benson is one to watch...

SorrelForbes · 30/05/2013 10:46

Never trust a man in tight shorts

FoulOleRon · 30/05/2013 10:53

And Betty back in control! Full of confidence in her old body while Megan and Peggy are losing theirs.
Don realised that Betty has left him in the past.
What is Bob's plan and is Peter after Joan along with Bob and Roger (again)?

Kneedeepindaisies · 30/05/2013 10:59

Such a great episode.Smile

Betty looked fab.

Trying to figure out the whole point of the Joan, Roger, daughter, grandson scene and then the Joan, Roger, Bob scene. Is it because he's not allowed to see his grandson that he wants to see Kevin?

my dd watched a couple of episodes with me, and now wants to go back to the start and watch them all. She thinks it is brilliant. She also thinks Don is wonderfully good looking.

I have just watched the very first episode with her, it seems so different. I am glad to watch it again as I disliked it on first viewing and now can appreciate it.

DonDrapersAltrEgoBigglesDraper · 30/05/2013 11:30

That first episode is fantastic, in hindsight.

I love the scene with Sal, he's talking in wonderment, how someone can live a life as a lie. So clever.

Lighthousekeeping · 30/05/2013 12:02

I don't think Don would have ever got with Peggy tbh. No offence to Peggy she's my favourite but, she's not his type.

I think there's only two more left. I love it when it's not trying to be too clever. Did Joan ever get divorced?

I don't remember that ArtexMonkey thanks for the reminder.

YES I read that as well, that the star links with Abe's being stabbed and represents blood, as well as the link with what Sharon tate was photographed in not long before she was murdered.

I haven't even seen that episode yet.

I am trying to remember what life was like before Tom and Lorenzo...

Vanity Fair also does very good interviews with Janie Bryant.

God it's a clever TV show, I am going to watch 'em all again with dd.

GetOrfMoiLand · 30/05/2013 13:33

I am rather shamefaced about my previous thread when I started watching Mad Men 'who are all these horrible fuckers' or however I titled it. Grin Blush

SorrelForbes · 30/05/2013 13:49

GOML They are mostly horrible fuckers though Grin Still love them.

TheAccidentalExhibitionist · 30/05/2013 16:34

Multifaceted is what they are Grin

SorrelForbes · 30/05/2013 16:58

and Pete is just misunderstood
