The jokey midwife was with Rachel, saying her mum would need A&E while she was going through transition . Although not 100% sure about joking with a mum who hasn't seen their own baby and is coming round from a GA either - if someone had told me I'd had a baby penguin at that point I'd probably have believed them!

Neither of mine came out of my vagina! But I think she thought it might have healed over since she got pregnant

The couple waiting for the CS were worried about their other two children at the child minders, thats why the Dad said he would need to leave. If you arrive at hospital at 6 in the morning I don't think its unreasonable to think you would be done by late afternoon. I know that things in hospitals don't always go to plan but I think some of you are being unfair.

According to one of the junior doctors on BBC3, inserting a catheter (female) its very easy to get all the holes confused!

Unfortunately mine ended up being pretty much one and the same!

So, when they have 18 women in active labour and have to close to admissions and some of those 18 might need emergency theatre - how exactly are they being unreasonable in expecting a perfectly healthy mum and baby to wait?

But such a true term.

I waited three days for induction because it was very, very busy and there was a queue.

Then whipped in for a section within an hour, doubtless pissing off some other poor bastard...

It is a horrible wait but rather wait than be the emergency, which I have also been.

the poor woman had two previously stressfull births and two young children with special needs at the child minders. Both parents were stressed you don't always condsider the bigger picture when you feel like this. I didn't say they were right but their feelings were understandable.

But she made this one more stressful than it should have been herself.

Her husband was an arse, as well. The way he spoke to the staff was awful.

The woman was moaning as she came in and was moaning about food just before 10am as the camera (pointedly I thought to the clock). Its the way they moaned...

at the cider swilling...I spent two weeks in the JR and I thought the faggy haze at the entrance bad enough
