Based in the scant info from the programme, I thought "hmmmm, maybe the anger of the child and father are linked". I can understand the mum's concerns but all that man seems to care about is whether he can get any sleep tonight.

Poor woman - she really is scared isn't she.

I know it must be awful to have bad previous birth experiences (and my first was pretty rubbish so I have a little experience) but I get the impression this lady could be quite competitive over who's had a worse time of childbirth.

Mayan....I would think it being a GA thats why the eyes are taped I'm sure they would forego that with an epidural

That poor woman. She was petrified after what happened with her first two, and now her third birth is going to be full of horrible memories. I was so lucky that I was first on the list for my ELCS, but I think I would have been stressed if I'd had to wait all day, and then my spinal went wrong etc. Poor woman. I am not surprised her husband was angry. It is such a shame that they've had to have yet another poor experience.

Why did they persuade that other woman to have an epidural - midwife was virtually convincing her she wouldn't cope without.

Hope cs baby is ok
