Stuff goes in storage. Get a one-bedroom. We were going to do this in Glasgow when Aillidh was still alive, but ill.

Wonder where the family are going to go? Feel so bad for the girls, the same thing happened to a friend of mine in year 10 when I was at school, it was awful.

ILovePonyo · 13/12/2012 21:24

God that was heartbreaking about Kevin Hmm poor man. Where are his family?

I used to work with homeless and vulnerable people, where are the support workers and charities?!

expatinscotland · 13/12/2012 21:24

Oh, they can take a *lot, lady. If they have to.

this is such an emotional programme

those kids could fall out of those windows or anything

expatinscotland · 13/12/2012 21:25

Oh, good grief!

butisthismyname · 13/12/2012 21:26

I'm about ten minutes behind! still on the 6 kid family in one bed flat!

jinglebellyalltheway · 13/12/2012 21:27

even now the family with the 2 girls seem a bit heads-in-sandish
They don't seem like they tried many plan Bs like lodgers etc

expatinscotland · 13/12/2012 21:27

How stupid! Why not just leave them there?

OP posts:
ifso · 13/12/2012 21:27

she has an Iphone? I have a crappy basic motorola from the early days

ifso · 13/12/2012 21:28

apologies didnt mean that to sound harsh or offensive

PickledInAPearTree · 13/12/2012 21:28

2k a month is just so much isn't it, even with lodgers. It's a crazy amount to pay month in and month out and just on an interest only basis.

ifso · 13/12/2012 21:29

omg

ILovePonyo · 13/12/2012 21:29

I was thinking the same about the kids jumping on the bed near the windows

HillyBillyBobby · 13/12/2012 21:29

DH and I are chattering about it and I keep pressing pause to chat and now I'm behind, argh!

jinglebellyalltheway · 13/12/2012 21:29

yes it is a lot, but £100 a week rent free can make a dent - I know a few families that share rooms to do this to tide them over

expatinscotland · 13/12/2012 21:29

No way I'd have bought such a big house. EVER. Unless I won the lottery.

£100k a week TAX free I mean

jinglebellyalltheway · 13/12/2012 21:31

jenny, she DIDN'T have money, that's the point! if you get a 100% mortgage and only pay interest you can't afford that house! so don't get it in the first place!

that hostel is a rip off BTW!

PickledInAPearTree · 13/12/2012 21:31

Was it London that large house? London prices boggle me.

ifso · 13/12/2012 21:32
