Spraggers 'not well enough to continue'
Dullisa 'gutted'
Rylan 'also gutted'

Me? Delighted actually, since you ask.

Will they do the right thing and bring back Jade? Or the Hot Older Boyband?

ohSad

good idea,Sue

So, back to the theme- wasn't it Louis the other year who chose a song that had actually only been number one somewhere like Moldova?Grin

Last week was the most wasted opportunity, theme wise EVER.

Raahh · 03/11/2012 17:28

@ Mama Cass

Barry White? Demis Rousos?

SuePurblybilt · 03/11/2012 17:29

It was. On the same lines, I like Movie Week, remember Mingehead just picking anything he liked and eventually googling enough to link it to some budget arthouse thing only released in Slovakia?

Jesus, you don't think Nanfucker will do Bryan Adams, do you?

@SuePurblybilt

Hi Kat,

Could you also change my thread title? I obviously wasn't aware of any of this when I wrote 'speculation and celebration'.

Could you change it to X Factor - Number Ones Week! instead please and thanks? Or people may think we want speculation.

We've done this for you now Smile

SuePurblybilt · 03/11/2012 17:30

Thanks KatMN. Better all round I think.

Wasn't that Crying, which featured in the huh?fest that was Mulholland Drive? Although it was in Spanish. I loved that song in the film.

Raahh · 03/11/2012 17:34

at Bryan Adams.

They have been doing a lot of recent dance crap this series.
Wonder what Rylan will massacre/mash-up this week?

SuePurblybilt · 03/11/2012 17:36

Crying as in Roy Orbison? Or Crying as in Aerosmith? I love Aerosmith.
I am Bored of Rylan and Bored of Mash ups.

OP posts:
Raahh · 03/11/2012 17:36

It wonder be nice if they would at least narrow it down- number ones of the 80's, number ones that were one hit wonders...

SuePurblybilt · 03/11/2012 17:39

Yes, I like a good tight theme Grin

Novelty No1s? Mr Blobby, Bob the Builder. Tellytubbies . Macarena.

OP posts:
Raahh · 03/11/2012 17:48

ooh- Mr Blobby. I'd love to see Nanfucker do Mr Blobby! he was a big star, in his dayGrin

The Baby Shits would look great as the Teletubbies. or The Wombles.

SuePurblybilt · 03/11/2012 18:00

Not sure if anyone agrees?

YES. Wombles. Let us always have a Wombles Week. And Folk Week. And Hymn Week (my personal Fave). Get them singing 'For those in Peril on the Sea', that'll sort the Men from the Rylans.

OP posts:
jessiegee · 03/11/2012 18:01

The theme is No.1s. But then the theme last week was Halloween and there wasn't one really Halloweeny song on the whole flipping thing. This week there will probably be No.2s (on the basis they are virtually No.1s) along with songs with the number 1 or word 'one' in them. The concept of a .'theme' seems to be very wide-ranging on X Factor.

Although I shall miss not being able to re-rhyme all Spragger's songs, I really really hope that the horrible rumour isn't true.

Tuttutitlookslikerain · 03/11/2012 18:07

Can I tell you something about Cardiac, cause I am full of useless facts!

According to one of the tabloids, an expert has said he is officially the worst singer because he hits more bum notes than any other contestant, even Rylan!

When I read it I imagined him having a massive diva strop and wailing that it wasn't fair cause he loves his nan!

I agree with your link to your other thread Sue!

SuePurblybilt · 03/11/2012 18:09

Do say so Tut Smile. Or I am pissing in the wind Grin
Poor MNHQ, I do sympathise.

I read on a blog somewhere that The Nanfucker is stupidly popular, topping all polls ever. Didn't someone on here say that too?

OP posts:
Tuttutitlookslikerain · 03/11/2012 18:38

Someone said that on here Sue, but Caroline Flack scoffed at the rumour on This Morning and said no one knows who is topping the votes! Any how, the bookies say he is favourite to go this weekend, we can live in hope!

SuePurblybilt · 03/11/2012 18:41

Well of course someone knows. The person who counts them, for one Grin. Silly Caroline. Just cos she doesn't know.

OP posts:
Tuttutitlookslikerain · 03/11/2012 18:44

Well yes, there is that![grins].

If you look at previous years, they always say someone crap is topping the vote, then, after the final, they read out who actually was and it wasn't that person at all!

SuePurblybilt · 03/11/2012 19:18

Who is the Master Class person this week? Do we know who has a single to flog?
Apparently Cardi Matt has pointedly not been asked and is hopping mad.

OP posts:
Tuttutitlookslikerain · 03/11/2012 19:27

Rita Ora I think. My DSes think she is fit, so I expect to have company this week!

Misha B was on Lorraine yesterday morning. I quite liked her new single, she is touring with Nikki Minaj.

Raahh · 03/11/2012 19:27

i doubt Steve Brookstein has ever been asked back either...Grin

but it must be awful to see the Wandies (who were 3rd to him) and Rebeccchaaa (from Liverpool apparently), with the massive record deal- and he hasn't done anything much. He should do a duet with Leon JacksonGrin

SuePurblybilt · 03/11/2012 19:27

Was she nekkid? They've had good use from her Pleather outfits, what can she have left to wear?
i don't like her

OP posts:
Raahh · 03/11/2012 19:29

Ahh, now Ms Ora was also a judge. I'm not keen, but she's quite ubiquitous at the moment.

SuePurblybilt · 03/11/2012 19:29

He has an album out Raah. I saw an advert, it involves him walking up a road, with praying hands. Singing. I muted it.

OP posts:
Raahh · 03/11/2012 19:30

I liked Misha B

I think she was robbed, Lidl Muffins sound bo different to any other auto tuned girl band. And what has happened to Marcus?
