I asked DH if he thought, when he was a kid, if JS was creepy and he said no. I liked him too. My granda used to let us grandkids sit on his chair with him and JS reminded me of that. I didn't find him creepy or sinister. Now, I can see it though.

I think it's on so late because of the content. Also these programmes are not usually given prime time slots.

Too strong for 7:30/8. High rating drama at 9 etc. I think ITV probably weren't expecting such a strong reaction or media interest.

I guess they probably destroyed quite a lot of tapes of routine programmes...otherwise would there be space for them all? Maybe that's naive
