thanks Hazel

Dotty342kids · 31/10/2012 21:37

Love the fact that so many of the locals seem supportive / interested. Unlike some of the other houses featured on Grand Designs which seem intent on annoying their neighbours!

Jellykat · 31/10/2012 21:37

That looks great Hazel!

HazeltheMcWitch · 31/10/2012 21:42

Anyone else want to give Donald a big hug? he looked so worried there!

oricella · 31/10/2012 21:43

There's a big move in Scotland towards this style of building and it's fab; know of lots of places anywhere between Perth, Aberdeen and Skye lives in a larch clad shed too

OhYouBigBadBeast · 31/10/2012 21:43

He's a lovely man!

MousyMouse · 31/10/2012 21:43

There doesn't seem to be that many trees on Skye. Dim question, but will they need to bring wood for their stove over from the mainland?

OhYouBigBadBeast · 31/10/2012 21:45

Envy oricella

MousyMouse · 31/10/2012 21:45

Jellykat · 31/10/2012 21:49

Lots of buildings around here (Pembrokeshire) are Larch clad too oricella. DSs dentists is for starters, it's silvered pretty quickly with the sea wind and rain.. lovely!

MaryZcary · 31/10/2012 21:49

Yes, lots of turf.

Though they might have to change that - it will eventually run out.

This is lovely.

Yama · 31/10/2012 21:49

Love that the locals are interested and can see its value.

Such nice locals.

Such a nice, intelligent couple.

Even Kevin is nicer this week.

Dotty342kids · 31/10/2012 21:50

God, it is beautiful there! Great advert for Skye...

OhYouBigBadBeast · 31/10/2012 21:50

HazeltheMcWitch · 31/10/2012 21:51
