Evening all, well it's on and I'm shocked!!

OP posts:
DuelingFanjo · 04/09/2012 21:46

what a shame that the father of the baby born to Fizah is so dis-interested in hi son.

sailorsgal · 04/09/2012 21:47

Stacey Well when your friends ask if there is anything they can do have a list ready! Wink

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 04/09/2012 21:47

ceeveeber thanks a lot but I've no room in my house to put somebody up so they would need to be local!

Pickles77 · 04/09/2012 21:47

Confused that car seat, that guy. Mum looked so together though.
So shes ditched judgey Joyce but will she still get postnatal care?

OP posts:
LilyCocoplatt · 04/09/2012 21:48

I thought that car seat didn't look right either, why would you have the seatbelt round the hood instead of round the back of the seat?

TheCrackFox · 04/09/2012 21:48

I think Fizah has been judged unfairly.

dueling it's very sad indeed isn't it?

sailor indeed I will I have sounded one out about cooking meals already! Grin

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 04/09/2012 21:51

devon snap! I think they must think we're more in-te-lec-tual!!!

Pickles77 · 04/09/2012 21:52

The feeding thing too I see now. All presumed formula?

OP posts:
crackcrackcrak · 04/09/2012 21:53

On the plus side there have been some really scrummy babies on tonight Grin

FrillyMilly · 04/09/2012 21:53

All of them told don't do this and that about SIDs but no mention of breastfeeding?

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 04/09/2012 21:54

With the feeding thing I'm assuming that they've discussed during the pregnancy how they'll be feeding the child. Iykwim.

TwelveLeggedWalk · 04/09/2012 21:54

Fizah seems sorted doesn't she? Loads of energy too. Bloke seems a total waste of space.

Notcontent · 04/09/2012 21:54

I can understand Fizah feeling upset about this. But, at the same time, certain indicators have to be used to identify mums and babies who could be at risk. If they didn't keep an eye on her and something did happen, then that would look very bad...

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 04/09/2012 21:55

I think Fizah will do fine, she seems to have her act together.

YankeeAlphaBravoUniform · 04/09/2012 21:56

My cousin is a midwife, and had two patches in a major city, two miles apart. Often mums in one patch asked about methadone. In the other it was all about lavender oils and natural remedies.

I can see why they might make pre judgements.

ImPeppaPigOink · 04/09/2012 21:56

I discussed at my booking in appointment how I wanted to feed the baby when he/she is born.

There is loads of scrummy babies on tonight.

YankeeAlphaBravoUniform · 04/09/2012 21:57

Steven is being very good with Cole.

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 04/09/2012 21:57

Stephen is lovely.
Fitzah doing fab!

Defo think rename the vulnerable baby thing

OP posts:
TwelveLeggedWalk · 04/09/2012 22:00

Wow. At 20 days babies change so much don't they? . In my defence mine were in SCBU for 50 days so I missed that bit. Bit sniffly watching all these mums with newborns at home.

TheCrackFox · 04/09/2012 22:00

"baby" doesn't grate as much as "mum".

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 04/09/2012 22:00

Ha devon I wasn't doing anything slightly intellectual during my labour so who knows?!

I did tell XH to 'follow that baby' as the ressisitare was outside the room and I was suddenly paranoid they would swap him or something
