I have been waiting for this for a very long time! :-)

Aww at the end

Tee2072 · 29/09/2012 20:04

That part was good. But the whole thing overall was meh. Moffat does what Moffat always does, makes it too complicated.

HmmThinkingAboutIt · 29/09/2012 20:04

That was a Happy Ever After....

LittleBairn · 29/09/2012 20:05

I'm sad that she is gone, plus creepy episode. But it didn't make me cry buckets like when Rose left.

TheAngelshavetheOod · 29/09/2012 20:06

I enjoyed it except Amy's emotional bit at the graveyard. Should be upset but not convinced by her.

Rory could have made me cry though!

JakeBullet · 29/09/2012 20:06

I said that would happen

TheAngelshavetheOod · 29/09/2012 20:06

I sobbed at Roses goodbye both times

JakeBullet · 29/09/2012 20:07

ooh...that posted twice.

CouthyMowWearingOrange · 29/09/2012 20:08

I may have something in my eye...

ReindeersGoldenBollocks · 29/09/2012 20:11

I didn't warm to Rose (probably the only person who watches Dr Who who didn't).

But Rory and Amy were special in this household and I didn't think it was a spectacular ending. Not happy with it at all!

Macchiato · 29/09/2012 20:11

next on at xmas? jesus have mercy, i swear i spend all my life waiting for fucking dr who

ReindeersGoldenBollocks · 29/09/2012 20:11

Haha Macchiato I thought the same thing!

weepingangel · 29/09/2012 20:13

Dry eyed Sad

Macchiato · 29/09/2012 20:14

and even at xmas they will show an hour "special" then start it up again in poxy march or something. I'm seething! At least Merlin starts next week i guess.

snapespeare · 29/09/2012 20:18

It wasn't sad, it was beautiful, she didn't want to be without him, and they had their own little adventures. :). Amynrory4evaz.

I'm really sorry to see the Pond's go. I didn't. Ry but I didn't cry at Rose going either, and in fact just got bored and irritated with the Dr being human enough to do that doppelgänger stuff; because he isn't, actually, and I felt the writers were just pandering to the mummies who fancied DT.

Anyway, this ep wasn't really scary. It felt rushed to me.

So is RS going to be the new companion for a while then?

Sorry Mr Moffat I thought it was a bit crap this week.

Jux · 29/09/2012 20:23

Oh bloody iPad! First sentence should be: I'm really sorry to see the Ponds go; I didn't cry, but ....

PeshwariNaan · 29/09/2012 20:29

Ooh, pregnancy hormones - got tearful there!

MrsToddsShortcut · 29/09/2012 20:35

Weirdly, I cried buckets and I never much liked the Ponds. Something about that really got to me.

ScorpionQueen · 29/09/2012 20:36

Grrr. Was recording it to watch later but DH turned sky box off at the plug for some reason. When will it be on iplayer?

:(

Tee2072 · 29/09/2012 20:38

And now the Doctor doesn't exist anywhere...wonder how that will play out...

Mrsjay · 29/09/2012 20:48

I agree with Tee MEH that is what DD2 said too yes the end was sniffy and I did jump a bit and did go Shock at the graveyard at the end but MEH , Moffat things he is cleverer than he actually is its all bells and whistles with no substance imo

Mrsjay · 29/09/2012 20:48

the angel babies were bloody scary though

AitchTwoOhOneTwo · 29/09/2012 20:52

ah, but however clever moffat actually is (in relation to however clever he thinks he is)... he's still cleverer than all of us, oh yes he is...

AitchTwoOhOneTwo · 29/09/2012 20:52

not least because he wrote Blink.
