oh and another thing - did you see the doctor pick up the fortune cookie at the end of the last ep? wonder if that comes into play in the next ep?

also - he lied in the last ep when he said to Brian that Amy and Rory would never die - what, apart from the several times when they did already?

anyway, it really looks like the Angels ep is going to be jumping back and forth in time and i think that is what we have had in this series to date - I don't think we have seen things in the right order. am still hoping that bow tie watch will have a payoff in this series too!

Just a point to make on bow tie watch. In the old episodes that have been playing on watch the doctors bow ties have alternated but his braces have always matched his bow ties. In all these episodes they have clashed.

I think the bow ties are probably a red herring though.

Yep I agree....we have not seen it in any right order....they are jumping back and forth through time so far.

My theory.....Amy and Rory won't die but I am wondering if they get sent back in time by the Angels....it would fit with all the time references going on in this series so far.

Jake I know what you mean. Whatever happens, it must be enough to make them stop their travels. The voiceover on the trailer is Amy saying something about the "final page, old friend". Is it a Blink-esque letter from the past to the present?

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but can I bring up the issue of Rory's ID badge as seen in the Eleventh Hour?

The badge clearly says "Issued 30/11/1990". Now, assuming the youngest age you can qualify to be a nurse is 16, that would make Rory's year of birth at least 1974, making him at least 38 years old. I could be wrong, but I'm sure there was a reference to Amy and Rory being about 30 in the current series.

Definitely something timey-wimey going on. Moffat has denied any significance, saying that he had never looked at the ID badge, but I don't believe him. The site I've linked to does say that "episodes like The Pandorica Opens and The Big Bang proved that Moffat was telling the truth. The graphics on the ID page were simply erroneous and a production error."

I've only seen each of those episodes once, but I can't remember anything in them that provides a categoric explanation of the ID badge.
