I haven't watched Eastenders for months and months, i just flicked it on to see Ian Beale not looking his best.

What has been going on??

I fancied him then too crikey and was so jealous of Keira!!

He's got a bit too think for me now though.

Didn't the actor who plays Michael go out with Martine 'get orf my bleedin dress' McCutcheon and not treat her very nicely IIRC?

I think he did...she always seems like such a cow though so probably gave as good as she got!

Yeah I think he did actually. Well according to her he was a bit of a twunt sadly.

I feel horrible mithering you all but, why does Lucy hate her dad so much? What happened to her private education did she ever go on to college or does she work in her dads caff?

She hates Ian because on his (almost) wedding day to Manady the slapper, Lucy begged him not to go through with it as she felt Mandy was a gold digger. ( she was right ). She asked him to choose between her and Mandy and he chose Mandy and chucked Lucy out.
He was already on his way to a breakdown at this point as he had just found out that Ben killed Hev and Phil was pressuring him to keep quiet.
Mandy then jilted him and he realised he had lost everything, went a bit mad and walked down the M25 with no shoes on to grow a beard.
Meanwhile Lucy had to care for Bobbie, run the businesses, and pay the mortgage/debt collectors.
I think she feels somewhat entitled to shit now.
She clearly didnt find time to eat mind you !! jeez that girl is thin !!

She WAS taking her exams when he buggered off but appears to have abandoned all that now for her dads chip shop empire.

EE is not bad viewing at best of times but corrie eugh! Just the music in the opening scene is enough for me.
