I would be - but need to keep nipping out to the garden to check DD hasn't wet herself - I'm really half-heartedly toilet training, day 1 today, and can't be arsed with the whole accident thing!

I used to be an avid wimblewatcher but since the err arrgggh grunting started I have turned off. they dont do it when they are practicing and i find it so irritating. no i couldnt turn the sound off because then i would miss the sparkling (sometimes) commentary. i will tune back in again when someone on high tells them to stop it. My predictions? Murray makes a shock exit in the first or second round. unseeded to win the women. all the british ladies out before the 3rd round.

I would love for Tsonga to win. He almost beat Djokovic in the QF of Roland Garros - had 4 match points I think. Must have been gutted to go on and lose.

Obviously the Brit in me would love for Murray to win. Though it'd be hard for me to support him against Nadal or Tsonga :)

Oooh thus is lovely, plenty of tennis fans again.

Didn't think DickDjok looked his best, I predict a shock defeat for him, either in the quarter or semi finals.

Fed plays at some point today, doesn't he ? I wanted to see how he was looking. He looked a bit tired at RG. I'm hoping he can reach his previous dazzling form on grass, and we can have a Rafa V Rog Final.

Davydenko can be a good player- and given Murray's tendency to be a bit hot and cold (and he's been quite poor in his lead up tournaments this year) it wouldn't be that surprising if there was an upset. Prob won't happen though.

I really want Nadal to re-gain the title this year.

Oh, you know I want Rafa to win, and regain Wimbledon again this year...then he will only need the US and Aussie Open to have all 4 Slams !

I think Murray if he is not careful (and not fully fit) could see himself out this week. I wonder if he will be more concentrated on the Olympics and the US Open ?

John Mac said earlier that he thinks Roger will win this year. I think he's being optimistic. From what I saw at RG, there's no way he could go 5 sets against Rafa, DickDjok or even Tsonga and win. Which is a shame.

The red button is a confusing thing, I agree. I need to remember that it's there, and that some matches may be on there, rather than BBC1 or 2.

I was nearly 6 when Virginia won. I don't remember the tennis, but I do remember our Jubilee party. My sister was a pea-pod in the fancy dress- the lad across the road popped all her balloon

It makes me laugh when they talk about how old he is. He's a young 'un compared to some of the men there this year !

I wish I was as fit as they all are. I turned 36 on Friday and feel about 76. Dog walking isn't keeping the crisps and sweets off the ol' bum, hips and thighs anymore.
