Ooh, Hewitt vs Tsonga. I am torn.

For those of you who were here last year, let me remind you that Tsonga is the double of my ExP. Not that I'm bragging or anything. Much.

Caught the end of Robson/Schiavone and am settling down to watch Hewitt and Tsonga. I like the way they both play. Hewitt is way past his best and presumably more metal than man these days, but he is Mr Tenacious.

Tsonga is lovely to watch; flamboyant and good-natured.

Tonga looks like my little brother only he is white I know but he really does! He is single ladies. I'm trying to marry him off. Any takers?

Well my attempts at house work have failed. I loaded the washing machine earlier, but forgot to turn it on, so I have now and need to wait before I can hang it out. -- I'm just going to ignore the mound of toys in the corner because ds will just demolish any semblance of order I create within 5 minutes of getting in!

Have just been watching an interview with Rafa. He is such a lovely, polite, sporting young man. A lot of sportsmen could learn a lot from him.

It's raining a bit...but they are waiting for it to pass. Saw Laura's match, shew played really well. Shame she lost. She looks like she could be a damn fine player in a couple of years.

I luff Tim Henman too. He's a very naice man. Talks nonsense sometimes, I do wish some of these commentators wouldn't profess to 'know' how players feel etc...let the play do the talking !

Hopefully Kvitova just has a few points to win, then we can get down to the main event.

I am sure Rafa will coast it.

I hope for all the Murray fans he wins today.

I wanted to stick my fingers up Sam Smith's (whosheanyway?) nose when she said earlier that Murray is still a young player hence him still maturing. He's 25! I was married with a baybee FGS. Young my ARSE.

Laura is sooo lovely (and is Kate Middleton in disguise I think) and I agree, she'll be super in a couple of years.

I never really rated Tim, but he is one of the last true serve/volleyers, which is much nicer to watch on grass than the ace-heavy players that followed.

I don't know about the roof for Ct1 Raahhfa, it's is supposed to be an outdoor event, which is why apparently they were dawdling a minute ago about putting the roof on CC. Daft, really. If they can 'recreate' outdoors as much as they can with the air con etc...I don't see why they shouldn't put a roof on.

Did you see they are thinking of moving Wimby to a week later because of all the sporting clashes that are happening ?

Sam Smith was apparently British No 1 but I've never seen her play ? She is another annoying commentator who can talk such sense then spoil it with a daft comment.

I was married with a babyee at 25 too PinoTim. Young. Pah ! I think people are having trouble trying to justify why Murray hasn't won a Slam when he showed such promise when he was younger, and can't explain whether it is his attitude, the attitude we have in Britain towards sports "oh well, as long as you took part and had a go, never mind" , or what ? I think his time has come and gone, and his only realistic chance of a Slam is if the other top 5/6 players are injured. I know some people still really rate him but I just can't see it. Rafa and Dickdjok are the same age and have managed it.
