DH continues with the annoying theme.

DH: He's the last Brit in it then.

Me: Yes, in the singles. There are still British players in the doubles though.

DH: But really he's the last Brit.

Me: In the singles.

DH: But people don't say that do they?

Perhaps he could and build some kind of village with my DS on a desert island for the next week.

Maybe it will have to extend into the Olypmics, though.

He does all the cooking, he does most of a lot of the housework, he baths DS2, he does the shopping and - and this is the important bit - remembers to buy chocolate. And he's good at other things too

Murry faces Cilic next which means we may have the lovely Goran court side again.

Lovely bit on the radio earlier where Goran said the ATP fined him just for walking on the court.

Speaking of Goran reminds me of this from the Wimbledon website:

I had to go shopping. I have to make Olympic themed hats and provide a bottle for the tombola for the school fair. I would rather just chuck 'em a fiver and save myself the stress of the dcs fighting over the only pair of scissors miserable cow.

I am still a bit at how they managed to wrap up the match almost exactly on time. Almost like they planned it.
I love watching Baghdatis play- he brings a bit of fun to the court that is a bit lacking at times.

The dcs are delighted there is no tennis today.

I am really good at talking bollocks about football. Dh hates it. Fortunately, he is at work at 4am- so probably won't stay up to watch the match

RaahhfaNadal, I would gladly pay money to get out of most school-related days and events over the coming tortuous weeks.

Quite glad of a tennis-free day today ? I have loads of work on and am starting today to try to get a head start.

I am v busy with freelance work for the whole of next week, but my plan is to work like buggery in the mornings so that, come 1pm every day, I can stop and spend the rest of the day on the sofa with my cheese, bread, grapes and crisps.

Realistic? Probably not. I suspect I'll end up pulling a few late nights to meet my deadlines. Still, it's only once a year, eh?!

Just been checking the schedule for tomorrow Ferrer/Del Potro could be great. I think Cilic might have burnt himself out- Murray may have an easy day. Hopefully Murray will have sorted his pockets out- all those dropped bollocks balls were embarrassing
