I dunno. He stuck with football until he was 11 or 12, and he certainly seems a passionate fan of both football and (yawn) golf. I know Roger likes football too, but Rafa seems much more into it.

The whole atmosphere at Wimbledon changes if it looks like one of the top seeds is going to go out - its like a dark shadow over the court that gradually spreads to the whole of the grounds .

The bloody crowd annoy me. They only cheer when it's clear someone is winning, or it's getting near the end. Players need support ALL the way through the match.

Rafa looked out of sorts in the first round too - no idea why. And he was a bit grumpy at times in the final of the French.

I read McEnroe's autobiography a long time ago but recall that he wrote that in tennis in the 70s particularly there was quite a bit of drug use, but it was more recreational drugs. Also, the testing these days is a lot more rigorous. I think the allegations that are popping up about Rosol are unfair. Remember quite a few years ago at the Olympics when Rebecca Adlington won Gold medals in the swimming. I believe allegations were made against her too but I think these came from other countries.

What's Roger's "walking on to court" ensemble this year? I've seen him play but not arrive on court.

I think it would have been more disruptive to start opening the roof- and the forecast isn't good maybe later- it makes more sense to leave the roof shut.
