No, I'm going to watch too.

Think AS is very camp though!!

zippitippitoes · 22/02/2006 18:52

I shall watch it provided it's on the same day and time every wek, not like masterchef

daisy1999 · 22/02/2006 18:55

I loved it, can't wait.

Steppy1 · 22/02/2006 18:57

yep, we have been waiting for this to start again. I didn't watch it all the way through last time, I think I started watching it when they were down to the last 8, not sure how many there were to start with.

yossa · 22/02/2006 19:39

my favourite programme of last year - just cant wait for 9 o clock!!!

Steppy1 · 23/02/2006 18:59

... did you see it ?... not sure of any names yet but surprised about Mr Sugar's decision to fire Project leader. As usual a couple of them reallly wound me up...did you think the women overused their girly charms to get free supplies ? I thought the lawyer lady was very classy and sassy, possible contender for the title... can't wiat for next week !!

OP posts:
zippitippitoes · 23/02/2006 19:06

I would have fired syed (sp) I couldn't stand his interrupting and thA team was a crap name would have maded them sound like teens

the curly haired one has a horrible laugh and scrreeches too much in fact all the girls seemed quite childish and I felt so embarrassed at their blagging

Steppy1 · 23/02/2006 19:11

totally with you - he was determined to have the A team name at all costs and seemed to want to make a point of it rather than listen to anybody else... don't think curly haired women will last too long do you ?

OP posts:
bunny3 · 23/02/2006 19:13

the women made me cringe - I was almost embarrassed to be female, esp the curly one who kept jumping up and down. I cant wait to see her get fired, hope she cries. Brilliant so far though

chonky · 23/02/2006 20:02

Loved it loved it! I'm relieved that Ben (chinless wonder boy) went, but Syed was awful as well. As for the curly haired lady, I was embarassed to be female. Euuurch.
Looks set to be my fave TV of 2006

kid · 23/02/2006 20:34

I loved it too. It was only when watching it last night that I realised I met the boy's team down Ridley Market when it was being filmed. They were practically dragging people over to their stall, I saw them filming but had no idea at the time what it was for, I do now!

Agree about the curly haired woman, she got on my nerves straight away and I doubt she will last long. Not sure on who I think will win, glad that bloke went last night, I didn't like the way he kept cutting Syed off, they had a personality clash from the start, glad they didn't call their team The A-Team.

Not sure that's quite the way to show Sir Alan you're top notch businesswoman potential....

Piggiesmum · 23/02/2006 20:51

dh says "top notch moron more like!" and declared her a "dramaqueen" last night.

And as for Syed, makes me want to punch the telly and shout "FGS shut up"

2Happy · 01/03/2006 21:02

It's starting!

turniphead · 01/03/2006 21:10

Sally Gunnell is a bit flaky isn't it - tears two weeks running?

2Happy · 01/03/2006 21:11

"pharmacologically mad" was dh's comment!

alliebaba · 01/03/2006 21:11

why does she keep punching the air.. she's a total twat

2Happy · 01/03/2006 21:19

She's crying again then. Not so much bouncing being done this week...

meggmoo · 01/03/2006 21:20

I can't remember who said it last year.
But at the end when all the candidates are waiting for him in that room and he opens the smoked glass doors. I remember someone commented that she thought it looked like he was leaving a toilet cubicle and expected AS to say...ewww you don't wanna go in there..fanning the air in front of him.
It makes me PMSL everytime I see that bit now.

Twiglett · 01/03/2006 21:21

Oh FFS .. silly bint (although can't help feeling she's right about kittens)

... and photographing 12 babies and 12 cats in a short time is going to be difficult
