I remember in th'olden days when there were no spoilers. The nation had no idea whether Deidre would choose to stay with Ken or do a runner with Mike Baldwin until it was actually broadcast. And we didn't know who shot JR.

So for those of us with no life who enjoy Corrie without spoilers, a new thread discuss our beloved soap with all its flaws

I've just caught up with Fridays episodes, not watched tonight's yet. How nuts is Kirsty??! I thought she was v good, and Ty too. What a pickle for him though, I mean he must feel quite trapped what with the baby and all. I wish he could have a happy life as he's such a naice character!

What do we reckon our Peter has done with Si? Just popped out for a pizza, or on the last ferry out of Liverpool to Ireland? Hmm, hmm?

I thought Michele lived in the second of the two flats above the Kabin, next to Rita.

i'm glad we're seeing more of Mary and Roy.

glad we'll have respite from the simon/peter/leanne/carla story - although I guess that will be picked up again in a few weeks when Carla and Peter are back.

The Simon/Peter/Carla Story is the biggest load of kak I can remember on Corrie for many a long year.

Line Corrie is bad quality viewing compared to what it was...WHY is everything dumbing down in this country...even soaps...

Mary is looking much slimmer these days

I had noticed Mary is slimmer. She has a pretty face. I'd like to watch her in interview on a television programme.

I hated Mary when she was first on it and going mad, taking Norris hostage etc, totally OTT but she has grown into a great character, I bet the actress would look totally different with a decent hairstyle and nice clothes. I hope they don't let this crush on Roy go too far and become ridiculous like the Norris one did.

I still think the Carla/Peter storyline is some way short of plumbing the depths of the John Stape one......

I've seen 'Mary' on Countdown, she looks much less frumpy in RL

She must be at least twenty years younger than Norris.

She's 44 IRL, supposed to be 38 in the show!

What did he go off to do? How come he was going to be driving a boat.
And have we seen the last of Simon for a bit anf his thoughtful expression?

He was going to bugger orf with Simon and Carla on a mate's boat to the caribbean (I think) they were supposed to catch a train to Southhampton but Carla told Leanne at the last minute, who took Simon back. P&C still went though, which is highly improbable given that its not exactly glamorous.

Can I just say: Guy who plays Nick Tilsley = worst actor evah!

Is Norris frigid?

I often thought he had a soft spot for Rita, but it never happened. Prob a good thing!
