Have started new thread, will be watching last night episode today and will report back.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but why are FB and some people ahead i.e. seen the last episode of this series? I'm watching on FX on Fridays and we have (I assume) one more week to go (and then Dexter is back - hooray!)

We're a week behind the States in the UK, so if people are watching over there or on the internet they will already have seen it Listmaker. (Also excited about Dexter)

Thanks AWimbaWay..........shall steer clear of the FB updates then til I've seen it next week. Loving this series and love this thread - no one I know in RL likes all my TV - Walking Dead, True Blood, Dexter, The Killing etc etc. So it's great to see what you're all saying about it - even though I never post!

Was totally hanging on by the seat of my pants. And had no idea who might live or die. Was totally unspoiled for this. (Learn't my lesson after the Sophia hunt)

the walking dead is something i have begrudginly watched since the beginning.

God, the premise is awesome - like yourself

but the reality...not so much - ditto

god, please make them stop the drama school monologues, and the quasi social/psychological messages.

and for the love of god andrew lincoln can't do an american accent.

god, i have lost faith in this programme to the point where i want to punch the characters for being so fucking shit

Custardo go wash your mouth out with bleach. I thought Andrew Lincoln did a fairly passable accent to be honest.

If you lot are going to watch before Friday I'm going to have to stay away from this thread, normally I'm a spoilers kind of girl but I really don't want anything to spoil it for me this week. Normally I watch it on a Saturday afternoon with the curtains wide open and not creepy at all but I don't think I can wait that long.

This series had a really slow start for me and I'm so glad that it's picked up so much after the break. I love it.

Watched the last episode last night.

Amused DH no end by shouting at the TV at one particular point. I got all wound up.

I do have to say though that DH has enjoyed this series way more than me. The pace slowed right down and I'm afraid I'm with Custardo on the drony monologue stuff - there has been a little to much of that for my liking. But then apart from Daryl and Dale there haven't really been any characters I've consisitently liked and I'm currently not giving a monkeys about whether any of them live or die.
Except after last night......but no spoilers....

I love love love the walking Dead! No one else I know watches it, so it's great to read this thread. Watched the last episode yesterday, it was AMAZING. Had no nails left after 5mins and actually cried at one point (cringe). Cannot wait til Autumn!

The change of pace was just superb. I was exhausted after the first 20 minutes!

Ha ha my friend who has seen the episode says she was particularly annoying in this one though. Also said she really wants her to die next season or she's gonna give up on it. Yeah, she's not a fan as you can guess. Lol
