Poor Kerry that was so traumatic for her! Beautiful boy though, but that waiting for the first cry. Happened with both my boys. Made me sad to remember how scared I was.

Oh it is SO emotional, it is so amazing. All of them, whether calm birth or not.

Reminded me of dd1 s birth at the end there, with the baby whipped away and the room full, I didnt think she had made it either...pass the tissues!

You don't get somebody to listen to you by demanding 'listen to me'. Blonde midwife was not at all responding to the person in front of her. She was treated badly in a lot of ways.

Big baby! Bet she's knackered and will be sore. I was after DS1, who got stuck because the awkward little so and so was facing the wrong way (he's 8 and hasn't changed)
