Am a teensy bit excited. And NOT pregnant this series, so can watch without that sense of impending doom.

DH was prepared with DD2 and packed in my hospital bag was a pack of 5 mars bars!

A Mars was the first thing I ate after she was born. I couldnt wait for the toast!!

Oh God am crapping myself now... [40 weeks emoticon]

I feel very sorry for them. I hope their baby comes before he goes.

Makes me as I know DP will probably be at work when ours is born.

I NEEEEEEED a baby too. This programme wither makes me go aww or cry with jealousy. Fingers crossed its the first one tonight

Why are they focussing so much on how the dads to be are feeling?

When ds was born 17 weeks ago, I was nil by mouth for 21 hours (prematurely ruptured waters, trying to vbac but cs scheduled for 2 days post water rupturing in case things didn't progress naturally so was starving myself just in case) and at 37wks pg, I was rabid with hunger. I went on and on and on and on and on about custard to anybody who'd listen. As I was wheeled into theatre I clutched the collar of the anaesthetist, pressed my face to hers and growled that custard and lots of it needed to be on the ward waiting for me post cs or I would do something with the gas and air nozzle which I won't repeat here. Hospitals inspire hunger I swear it.
