my midwife smelt my sanitary towel, said she could smell my waters as apparently they smell of farmyards, I smelt it too and it did smell like straw!!! v strange. DH was busy making puking faces whilst she did it!

yes midwife asked if he would be home for xmas as if xmas was fairly soon

I'm always bemused by the whole 'getting ready to start pushing' - I guess it's when you've got an epidural, but with my kids, the pushing did itself, not a lot I could do about it!

If she's fully dialated, what the flaming frick is he doing outside on the phone?!

have been in same situ as army couple my Dh was due to go to afghan week of due date, i went for planned c-sect so he got to see her he got to see her when she was 5 months
