Brendan looked properly gutted. He has grown on me over the years. He was a right knob jockey for the first few series (poor Camilla ) but has definitely mellowed with age.

I wasn't hugely keen on the pro dances tonight (well, I liked Erin and Katya, but that was it).

So why, do we think, Lulu and Brendan said nothing nice about each other? Plus, maybe I read too much into these things, but to me, they got away from each other ASAP to receive their goodbye hugs.
Glad Audley's still in, though he can't have long left now.

Did you notice when Tess asked Brendan did he have anything to say to Lulu, he thanked everyone BUT her! Then they didn't spend more than 3 seconds dancing together before they split apart.

Not a happy chappy I think, maybe it was the shock?

Brendon totally didn't think he was going to go, did her! Total shock which made me laugh... found it quite unpleasant when Lulu was gyrating around the floor once she was kicked off - wasn't surprised they didn't dance together for long but felt more sorry for Brendon.. I think he's a great dancer has definitely mellowed in recent years!

Ah well - roll on next week! Hope Artem is better.. can't find any news about how he got on after the live show :(

I wish they'd have more showcases with top competitive couples. They usually roll Joanna Leunis and Michael Malitowski at some point. I could watch her all night, she's just so "wow"!

Yay, finally she's out! I've never really liked Brendan, but I think he hasn't had a good time with Lulu. Remember how he used to defend Jo Wood who was awful? He hasn't bothered this series...and I did think as well, when they did their goodbye dance that she just took off on her own and did her gyrating about on her own, that there was no 'connection' between them. Unusual when they've been working together for this length of time.

Possibly Brendan had his swagger and wind taken out of him by his father's death. Early series he was def. the mouthy baaaad boy.
