Starts tomorrow night at 10pm in case you didn't already know!

And the last episode of Season 1 is on before in case you need to remember what happened

OP posts:

Hmm, no-one has died in a while though, it must be time!

Can't remember, when you get bitten, what happens? Would he have time to help carry the supplies to the car before 'changing' when Shane would have to kill him off?

susiedaisy · 31/10/2011 19:07

Yes after being bitten it can take between a few hours and up to a day or so to change so assuming he wasn't eaten where he fell he could return the medical supplies say goodbye to the wife and then get shot by Shane or rick Grin

Eggrules · 31/10/2011 19:16

The guy bitten in the first series lasted ages and was eventually just left on the side of the road unchanged and on his own request. It took about 12 hours for Amy to change (I think)

They seem to have lost all thought about Sofia (little girl)

I too thought they should have saved flares for return journey. Also be a bit quieter maybe? Dollops.

JKSLtd · 31/10/2011 19:26

Ah yes had forgotten about that man.

I wonder if the forgetting abut Sofia is because life is cheaper somehow, i mean are they getting used to losing people so sort of shrug it off a bit.

susiedaisy · 31/10/2011 19:32

Yeah I thought sophias mum was a bit laid back about Sophia still not bring found in the last episode, no hysterics, or did I miss it?

Melty · 31/10/2011 19:56

I have just watched ep 3
Oh My God!!!!!

Now feel a bit sick.

clagger · 31/10/2011 19:59

how have you watched episode 3? Envy

Melty · 31/10/2011 20:12

Ahem.
I can't tell you.
I'd have to kill you.

Torrent

But it is full of tension......

clagger · 31/10/2011 20:15

...

anonacfr · 31/10/2011 20:18

It took Amy 12 hours to change after he died.

The other guy was sick but alive a good 24 hours later- there would be plenty of time for Otis to get back to the farm.

Melty you are evil. I am trying to hard to watch the series on TV.

Melty · 31/10/2011 20:20

I know.
I am paying for my evilness though.
I had a lovely lovely dinner while I was watching it, and sadly what I just watched has spoiled it somewhat....

susiedaisy · 31/10/2011 20:29

Melty · 31/10/2011 20:45

I can say one thing though.

susiedaisy · 31/10/2011 20:47

Ok just glanced at FB walking dead page and the US followers are commenting on the third episode( yeah I know I'm sad) omg, now I cant wait, Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/10/2011 23:22

loving season 2

refuse to cheat and watch on torrent on a small screen - need my whole 36inches wide screen to oggle rick Grin

Melty · 01/11/2011 00:16

Oh Blondes, that isn't an issue. I just transfer the file to my media hard drive and watch on the telly.
And I didn't say that.
And I know its naughty, but I've bought the season 1 DVD and am sure I will do the same with S2.

somewherewest · 01/11/2011 05:24

I've been watching online too (bad me). Haven't seen episode 2 yet as am waiting to watch it with DH. Hope it isn't too gory. I love suspense but can't cope with proper gore.

somewherewest · 01/11/2011 05:26

PS Has anyone else noticed that the men's stubble sometimes appears and disappears at random between scenes? Or am I just watching too closely? Grin

anonacfr · 01/11/2011 09:13

Melty how exactly does that work? That's what my siblings do- they tried to explain it but it sounded rather complicated.

PumpkinSizedEmmaRoyd · 01/11/2011 09:41

hi everyone, only just got round to watching episode two.

I was actually crying when Lori saw her son in the bed and was saying 'momma's here baby boy' etc etc but then when she started having a go at the vet she really pissed me off silly cow.

Some of the characters seem to be a bit confused, Daryl started off as a horrible dumb redneck now he's suddenly intelligent and compassionate Hmm and like someone else has said, Shane was a womaniser, then a good guy, then a potential rapist, then a good guy again.

Yes the mum was ridiculously calm when they suggested leaving without her daughter, she said 'but what about Sophia?' like she was talking about a lost hamster.

my prediction is the septic arm guy will die, and zombies will eat Maggie's horse Sad

I also predict a zomance (made up word for an unlikely romance during a zombie apocolypse) between Daryl and Andrea Grin

susiedaisy · 01/11/2011 09:51

havent seen ep 3 yet but from what i can gather from wasting time on the walking dead facebook page Shane's behaviour will have us all Shock after this weeks episode!

anonacfr · 01/11/2011 10:09

Agree with you about Lori. I was really moved by her reactions when she arrived at the farm but when she started taking down at the vet.... Her son is on a brink of death in the middle of a zombie apocalypse and by an amazing stroke of luck finds himself in the care of the one guy who might actually be able to save his life and she has a go at him? Nice.

I don't think Daryl was ever dumb btw he just looked it. Grin
He was always the pragmatic resourceful one. Who else was out there hunting for the group?

I think the only time Shane was ever 'good' was with Rick. He was patronising to Lori when they were shagging and as group leader made horrible decisions.

Maybe the mum's in shock? Or she's told herself her daughter was lost as a self-defence mechanism.

I want to know what Shane does in the third episode!!!!!

EmmaRoyd · 01/11/2011 10:35

does Shane try to shag Maggie? I think the show's missing some sexual tension.
