And the last episode of Season 1 is on before in case you need to remember what happened

Ok, they were at the high school. The portacabin was the FEMA shelter. (The Federal Emergency Management agency- basically govt disaster response group)
And the bit where they got trapped was the entrance to a Media Centre.
I think, from what I can see that there is another set of glass doors next to the wall they were standing up against. (Difficult as we only get close ups of the zombies, but it would make sense, if its a library/computer centre type of thing to have a couple of sets of doors for humidity control etc)
So I think that next week, they will shoot out the second set of doors and have a mad chase.
And Otis will fall down and distract them so Shane can get back with the supplies. Or something.

Egg , He said they werent unscathed, The epidemic took them. I assumed he meant the zombie virus or whatever it is.

As I was just looking now, it occured to me that while he's having the conversation with Rick, its daylight. Lovely and sunny (And the shadows of the horse when Lori and Maggie get there indicate that the sun is directly above), but where Shane and Otis are, approximately 5 miles away, its pitch dark.

Yes I am that sad. I really did go and look for evidence of shadows.

I asked DH what he thought and he reckoned there must be another doorway/exit or some way of getting further back.He watches more closely than me (I have taken on the responsibility of checking over my shoulder constantly to check nothing is creeping up on us in the dark)

I assumed Eggrules meant all the bodies in the cars? One was a suicide-ee but the others were just sitting there which is odd considering the eaten missing baby.
However I think the vet was talking about the zombie thing when he mentioned the epidemic. He had this whole zombie/AIDS comparison thing going so I took it as his wife and son were zombified, as well as a few of his neighbours.

Just watched the trailer. It's official. Darryl is the zombie apocalypse king.

You mean that anyone who dies even unbitten will become a zombie anyway?

But that zombie was strung up rather high- could it have been a suicide? I took it as someone had hanged a zombie as some kind of warning/territory-marking thing.

All the more reason to keep a better look out if his missus is out there somewhere.

I reckon the strung up zombie is someone who gotten themselves bit and hanged themselves before they turned.

I hope the farmhouse stays untouched it's such a pretty place! And I don't want to see any more horses eaten.

It reminds me of the campfire scene in the first season. Everyone happily tucking into a fish barbie when out of nowhere a gazillion zombies just emerged and attacked everyone... Eek!

I found this episode a bit slow, (kept shouting "HURRY UP!!" at the screen)
I agree that the lad who got shot is a tad old fashioned/annoying. May stop watching and wait for the box set. As I lie awake for ages after each episode thinking what will happen next.

I thought that Jenner told Rick that everyone has the virus lying dormant, so they are all going to become zombies when they die.
Thinking about it some more, though there is a flaw in my argument: that means all the dead people in the cars should be zombies, unless they were all killed with headshots afterwards.

I have finished "Flesh Eaters" (no wonder nothing gets done round here...).I really enjoyed it,good light easy reading (if you can ever say that of a zombie book....) He also wrote "Apocalypse of the Dead" and "Dead City" so I may have to look into getting hold of them.Next on my list is the last of the 4 book Autumn series by David Moody.I've read them out of order (as I've been able to get hold of them).I've found them brilliant and really recommend.

I gave in and read Book 1 of the graphic novel. In my defence, I bought it for DH last Christmas and have resisted until now.

How stupid of them though, did they think they could find everything and get back behind the cars while the zombies were still looking at the flares? That's the only reason i can think of them not taking some with them.

Carl is annoying me now, i feel like he's holding up the story, how mean is that?! Will they ever find the girl....

Not having an exit strategy for the hospital was incredibly dim. I reckon Shane survives (component of tense love triangle and therefore too important to kill) but Otis dies (they haven't polished off a minor character in a while).

But Otis has alot of the medical supplies in his back pack!
