Starts tomorrow night at 10pm in case you didn't already know!

And the last episode of Season 1 is on before in case you need to remember what happened

OP posts:

Wasn't Maggie on the lookout with binoculars when Rick was running up to the farmhouse with Carl?

I'd kind of imagine, if they are a fair way out from the city, and a few miles from the motorway.(Interstate?) that they wouldnt get that much zombie traffic, as the biggest concentration of people would be in the city.
They might get a few strays through, but I'm sure they could easily overpowser them.
The vet, Herschel said that they lost a few folk. But honestly, Maggie and her baseball bat seem to me like she could sort them out easily.
Meanwhile, they took the time to paint the woodwork of the farmhouse! It certainly does look lovely!

Melty · 29/10/2011 21:15

I couldn't work out if that car seat was meant to imply a baby that had been shot or just dismembered. (God, that sounds flippant)
But yes awful scene.
If it had been shot, then military must have been involved in the deaths of the people in the cars.
On the other hand, maybe they were shooting people who had been bitten.
Hmm,
And Anon, you will have to fight me for Daryl! I saw him first!

countessbabycham · 29/10/2011 21:32

Oh missed the bit with Maggie and the binos!

I reckon the baby had been got by zombies.

Form an orderly queue for Daryl please Wink

somewherewest · 29/10/2011 21:33

I think the carseat implied that the poor baby had been eaten by zombies Sad. If he/she had been shot the body would presumably have been still there like the dead bodies in the other cars.

anonacfr · 29/10/2011 21:41

That's what I thought too. It was a v somber and realistic touch. It reminded me a lot of World War Z in that sense.

ILovePonyo · 29/10/2011 21:43

Ooh just watched last nights episode, feel sad now thinking about the baby :(

Agree Lori is annoying (like her son Shock) and the missing girl seems to have been a bit forgotten.

Hardly any zombies in this weeks but they make up for it at the end, eeeek...

Oh and during the episode dp asked me what dd's blood type is, we then realised we don't know hers or ours, need to sort that out just in case!

anonacfr · 29/10/2011 21:44

Speaking of Maggie did I dream Caleb from American Gothic all grown up hovering behind her when Rick first arrived?
I assumed he was the vet's son as the actors (Maggie and Caleb) look v alike but the vet mentioned a daughter and nothing about the boy (who's grown up rather pretty if I might be shallow for a moment Grin) and then he was nowhere to be seen.
Come back Caleb!

susiedaisy · 29/10/2011 21:44

Do we think Sophia will be found?

countessbabycham · 29/10/2011 21:46

I don't think they'll move on without finding her.

I reckon they'll find her zombiefied.

countessbabycham · 29/10/2011 21:47

[hshock] at my nasty mind!

susiedaisy · 29/10/2011 21:51

Yeah I think they will,

As for repopulating my list would be as follows Shane, daryl, rickGrin

anonacfr · 29/10/2011 21:51

I hope she lives and Carl dies just because Lori is so annoying. Blush

Darryl's plan to leave her a sign and supplies was so sweet.

Where were Shane and Otis 'hiding' at the end? I couldn't work it out. I thought they'd broken into the school but it seems once they got in and locked the gate there was nowhere for them to go. It was rather odd.

anonacfr · 29/10/2011 21:52

But susie Shane tried to rape Lori!!!!

anonacfr · 29/10/2011 21:52

And he was a bastard to her in the first season when he thought she was 'his woman'.

And he won't give Andrea her gun back.

ILovePonyo · 29/10/2011 21:53

It was too bloody dark for me to be able to tell anon Angry I would put money on the fact that they get away though.

Shock at countess and zombiefied Sophia!! Grin

susiedaisy · 29/10/2011 21:54

Oh shoot I forgot thatBlush god it's slim pickings isn't it!

anonacfr · 29/10/2011 21:56

Face it countess is right- we'd have to queue up for Darryl.

And Rick if the queue is too long.

countessbabycham · 29/10/2011 21:59

Look if it'll help you all out,I suppose I'll consider Dale....

I'm really not too fussy Grin

Melty · 29/10/2011 21:59

I think they were at an entrance that had an extra security gate in front of it.
Oh, hang on, didnt they break las doors to get there?
Im confused.
I might have to go and look again.
Yeah, Susie Shane is a bad 'un. He might not have tried to rape her exactly, but he molested her while she was saying no.
So equally as bad as a rapist.
I actually think the writers made a mistake there. Went from hero type, in love with his best mates wife, to rapey in one scene.
I could never forget that.

countessbabycham · 29/10/2011 22:00

...but I wouldn't mind a look in with Daryl when you're all done Wink

susiedaisy · 29/10/2011 22:00

Actually thinking back to very first episode when Shane and rick were in cop car talking about women Shane came across as a womaniser

Melty · 29/10/2011 22:01

Grin at countess

countessbabycham · 29/10/2011 22:02

I also couldn't understand where they were - it was like security grille with something like breeze blocks behind them.

I reckon Shane will escape but Otis will be zombiefied (too)

countessbabycham · 29/10/2011 22:07

I have a nightmare sometimes where I have been successfully battling zombies but then I end up in a louvre door cupboard and I can see through that the place is completely overrun.I know at this point in the nightmare,as they get in,I die, which is when I wake up

it like that for them,eh?[hgrin]

Eggrules · 29/10/2011 22:30

At least the bodies were explained by the vet. He said there was an epidemic that killed his wife and child.

That house and all in it are toast. Worst defended house ever.
