Starts tomorrow night at 10pm in case you didn't already know!

And the last episode of Season 1 is on before in case you need to remember what happened

There is rumblings of merl making an appearance soon, on the fb page, not sure if it's true but it will certainly throw the group dynamics out if he does, wonder if daryl will revert back to his old self if big bro turns up? Hmm

MartyrStewart · 06/11/2011 23:03

Finally, finally I can catch up on this thread after watching ep 3. I thought it was a bit predictable that Shane sacrificed Otis.

Have sky+ The American horror thingy so will see you there if you start a new thread.

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/11/2011 23:11

poor otis - cant believe shane left him to die

then again he did shag his best mates wife in series one

i did think their son would die, but alss not [hhm]

why did shane shave his hair off - what was the point of it?

when will one hand man come into it - the one they left on the roof in series one - he must be alive

also looking forward to tomorrow and american horror - tis on planner and series linked Grin

MartyrStewart · 06/11/2011 23:14

He had his hair off to conceal where Otis had pulled a chunk out fighting back, Blondes.

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/11/2011 23:18

oh right - duh - thanks :) - can you tell im blonde Grin

notyummy · 07/11/2011 10:01

I love this series, although I have constant high blood pressure watching it waiting for zombies to appear.

Yes - Shane's a baddie, but couldn't help noticing whilst he was wasting water in the shower that he has been killing time since the tv went off by working out...

anonacfr · 07/11/2011 10:20

There qas a silly post on TWOP pointing out that he now had bigger boobs than Lori... Grin

bilblio · 07/11/2011 15:06

Just seen episode 4. :o

anonacfr · 07/11/2011 16:04

Noooooooooo! I was going to ask who was watching it tonight with me. You beat me to it. Grin

Anyone else?

susiedaisy · 07/11/2011 16:07

I've heard mixed reviews on ep 4 but I'm sure I will love it anywayGrin not many zombies but the farmhouse gives up a bit more info!

somewherewest · 07/11/2011 16:07

Me too. It was a bit slow apart from a lovely Daryl moment. And The Farm The Apocalypse Forgot has now been joined by The Village The Apocalypse Forgot. There is something very strange going on here.

susiedaisy · 07/11/2011 16:08

TWOP ???

anonacfr · 07/11/2011 16:14

Television without pity (twop.com). They have hilarious forums full of crazy fans who over analyse every second of every episode. They cover all the American shows and even some of the British.
It's v funny and v addictive

tabulahrasa · 07/11/2011 16:21

all the wondering over food - um, it's a farm...

I'd think they'd have a fairly good supply of fresh meat, lol and possibly wheat as well.

susiedaisy · 07/11/2011 16:23

ThanksSmile will have a look

anonacfr · 07/11/2011 17:31

Well the fields were empty...

ILovePonyo · 07/11/2011 18:35

melty I knew you were joking about the lasering, honest! You've reminded me that dp has a collection of graphic novels called 'Preacher' - they are fantastic and when we first got together years ago I read them all on a Sunday, ahh happy days :)

blondes I didn't realise that was why Shane shaved his head either Blush I just thought he didn't like looking at himself b'cos of what he did so wanted to change his appearance Hmm

susie twop is very addictive, be warned!

Melty · 07/11/2011 18:53

Ponyo, you could be right about Shane not liking to look at himself now. It would have been easy to say that one of the walkers had grabbed his hair when he was dangling out of the window and no one would have doubted him.
I think Shane is changed inside because of what he did, so he wanted to change his outward appearance too. (I feel like I'm writing a paragraph for Coles notes!)
Bet he didn't count on Maggie giving him Otis's cast offs.

Just watched ep 4.

Yes, a bit slow, but some good moments and some good characterisation.
I really do love Darryl. That is all.
The man brought tears to my eyes.

Oh and Glen! Surprisingly expressive face. Smile

Melty · 07/11/2011 19:01

Another name for our farm from TWOP; the Impenetrable Magic Farm That Can Never Be Invaded, Even At Night And With No Lookout.
Grin

anonacfr · 07/11/2011 20:44

I liked it! It was indeed slow but in a good character building way. It was nice to get more action from the others.
Great comedy moment and yes, Darryl is officially lovely. We'll definitely need to draw lots for him.

Anyone else thought Maggie was rather calculating?

anonacfr · 07/11/2011 20:55

OK hilarious

'The search for Sophia is continuing into another episode? Ugh! That kid has already set up her own civilization at Fort Benning, found a water supply, set up a perimeter defense and built the army back up by now.'

anonacfr · 07/11/2011 21:00

followed by

'Perimeter! Everybody take a drink! Oh, sorry, I had a flashback to the days of the "24" forum.'

bilblio · 07/11/2011 21:10

Oh good, glad I'm not alone in watching episode 4. I think Daryl might be turning from scary redneck into the biggest softy there is. I had a lump in my throat.

Glen is officially ace! (for the rope bit) and I couldn't help but think of MN threads at the end. :o

DH has read the comics so I asked him what the Blankety Blanks you've mentioned are...

tabulahrasa · 07/11/2011 21:10

'Well the fields were empty...'

cos they're busy making everything out of them into sandwiches Grin

Melty · 07/11/2011 21:19
Big Spoiler, Do not watch if you have not seen Ep 4--has not been shown in UK yet (Which is what myself and other naughty MNers have been watching today)
