Did the farm community make some type of deal with the devil to keep the zombies away? Are they supposed to sacrifice any new folks wandering through in order to keep their community zombie-free? I keep half-expecting Lando Calrissian to pop out and explain to our travelling band that he has made a deal that will keep the Empire away from the farm forever.

God, I hate the way American series just break so unexpectedly, I always miss when it starts up again and have to start messing about downloading, Grrr.

I agree about mid season breaks. I think the broadcast is very odd too. The commercial breaks are timed very strangely. It is so annoying that we record it and watch it 10 mins after it starts.

How are you all so far ahead? And what's this about mid season breaks? I keep reading on this that Carl dies, at the end of episode 3 he was stable, am I the only one who is rooting for him?

Agreed re: finding the girl, she has to show up surely, maybe she is with other survivors? Thats a way to introduce new characters.
