OOOh I'm gutted i was staying at DIL's last week and missed it (no T.V.) I'm upset Jason has gone he was good and poor little Rob, not smug, cute.

The thing with Paul salty dog is he loves salt so much his taste buds are dead he WOULD say plums have no taste 'cos they don't have salt in them!!!.It seems unfair to have a judge who can't taste anything.

Pork pies are yuk, bellyache on a plate. is it profiteroles this week then? YUM

I am still gutted that Jason has gone. PH and MB are talking out their backsides over the decisions they make.

So he has one bad week and he goes but others (including "star baker" Janet have continually fluffed up - she even got her meringue pastry to fall apart, "star baker" my ar$e!) stay? So not fair. PH babbled some crap about consistency - others have been consistently bad but got through.

It would have been good for someone young, someone who obviously was having a whale of a time baking, to win? What is their problem? So it turns into another boring, Home Counties, run of the mill nonsense.

Hopefully Jason will try out for Masterchef next! Can you imagine? Actually stuff our version - Masterchef Australia where the real competition is!

Aw Twoby, you've said it all! Don't know if I cba with the rest of it now. Who wants to see a travesty of a competition between a load of school run mummies and a couple of comfy grannies? I can see that any day at the school gates fgs!

Oh and he's much nicer than he appears on telly. Very friendly, took time to speak to his fans and didnt mind having his photo taken, very charming!

yeah P.H. salty dog! looks nice but REALLY 'plums have no taste" what's THAT about??? Has he tried Victorias? (I saw the repeat on Sunday BTW!) i think he also needs his sweets to be loaded with sugar cos' when your palate is used to too much salt that is what happens IME.

i loved those choc. pastry tarts though it gave me an idea what to make in place of Xmas pudding for DD2 this Xmas! This week is going to be good; I can actually make that chocolate roulade it's quite easy Grin without it cracking hugely (she says proudly)!! it also tastes amazing!!!

Have you noticed that Holly and Jo are Mary's little pets? She talks to them in a totally different way from that in which she talks to Mary-Ann and Janet!

sorry to see Jasmin go, esp since she burned her fingers - I only find Holly a little annoying (I think she's a bit like me Blush)
