re the null field - why oh why did they have to keep showing us that Jack had used it to create a space where they could talk without being overheard??? it's OK, y'know, we might be brain-dead knackered parents but we got the point pretty quickly!!!!

aitch i seriously nearly fired up the quattro laptop to post during this ep - but realised it would mostly consist of "oh ffs" and so figured it could wait.

and yet strangely i actually warmed to this ep a little - at least something actually happened.

oh yes - another thing i laughed/groaned at - the way they exchanged over-dramatic shocked "da-da-daaaaaa" looks when "the blessing" was mentioned

and yes the whole esther going on "oh look at the floor" and jack going "don't" and esther going "oh but look at the floor" and jack going "don't" and you'd think that as a super-smart CIA intelligence operative she would know when to take a blardy hint
