Nota I think it depends on the baby. DS was born at 34+ weeks and they had planned to move me to another hospital as no room in SCBU but DS was born before they could transfer us. When he was born he would idealy of been in SCBU but paed deemed him ok enough not to be transferred and could go up to the ward but would need monitering as though he was in SCBU
