Perhaps she'd had a couple of glasses of red to help her relax? It's possible. I dometimes look like that after red wine

ShowOfHands · 14/03/2011 22:08

Click on 'message poster'. We have a PM facility now. Great for abusing people without having to pay to CAT.

darleneconnor · 14/03/2011 22:10

hula, sprung, show: I had easy births with only 3 VEs but still ended up with PTSD so bad I wanted to drive my car into a wall everytime I thought about it. After seeing that woman like that it has brought all those feelings up again to the extent that I am having to hold back from vomiting. If that ever actually happened to me, I would be suicidal. Please dont dissmiss my feelings.

I really shouldn't watch this programme.

Imps7 · 14/03/2011 22:14

Oh dear I've just started re-reading the thread and am very sad to see reaction to Dave - yes he's a bit annoying but he seemed like a genuine, pretty decent bloke.

I wish him and Oakley all the very best.

ShowOfHands · 14/03/2011 22:14

I'm not dismissing your feelings at all darlene. And I'm so sorry that you feel that way. You didn't qualify your statement as having anything to do with your feelings about your own birth, but left them as a comment on somebody elses.

I had crippling ptsd after dd's birth and it took 3 years for me to seek help. I couldn't have watched this programme a year ago. I was in a pit of despair having daily panic attacks. I've been there.

Have you had any help?

OrangeBernard · 14/03/2011 22:18

I couldn't have watched this a year ago but having a birth debrief sorted me out
