The nurse was driven into the woods by her partner who thought that she was about to have an attack of conscience and confess to whatever had been going on - he took her there to kill her.

She found a payphone and called 999

She knew that cancer lady was crazy and wanted to do the right thing. She was going to confess about killing the old couple.

why did she have a huge pile of crucifixs in the car though? she cant be that innocent.

she met up with the boyfriend straight after Andrew died, and got another crucifix to wear.

Gosh, now she will get LOADS of attention!

I don't think that they have explained the crucifixes (crucifii?) - I wonder if they used that to make her seem more creepy and lead you in the wrong direction. Maybe she's just really into Jesus?

Maybe she has become very religious to try to deal with what she has had to cope with being a part of.

or maybe the boyfriend got her to give crucifix to dead patients families, so they remembered her fondly and then he would come in as an early "ambulance chaser" sueing for compensation??
