theywillgrowup · 18/01/2011 21:30

actually watching this think i may convert,it would be nice to be a kept women instead of single parent on benefit, and a man taking his responsibility to his kids and wife seriously

Joekate · 18/01/2011 21:30

Yes Cheeser - I was waiting for the punch line and then realised what it was all about Sad

Cheeser · 18/01/2011 21:31

Those outfits! Shock

BitOfFun · 18/01/2011 21:31

Those outfits are sooooo Spanish, aren't they?

missy10 · 18/01/2011 21:31

omg the hen night outfits Shock

EricNorthmansMistress · 18/01/2011 21:32

They are exactly like my Moroccan SILs would be if they were allowed to wear clothes like that.....

TooManyButtons · 18/01/2011 21:32

The mother-of-the-bride outfit! My eyes! Shock

Joekate · 18/01/2011 21:32

Good Lord! I'm kind of waiting for the girls boobs to light up!

Hassled · 18/01/2011 21:33

Eric - interesting re Morocco. I can't imagine functioning like that. And Norman - yes, it's not exactly good, the rubbish thing. I was just reassured that there was at least some logic behind it, rather than just random not giving a shit, IYSWIM.

CaveMum · 18/01/2011 21:34

I seem to recall a girl in her mid 20s who was shown getting married in the last programme. She had a job as a hairdresser, or similar, and seemed very different to the other girls,

Her family said they never thought she'd get married at her "late" age Hmm

I read in a paper that she moved to Ireland with her husband but within 18 months had had a baby and left him.

TheCrackFox · 18/01/2011 21:34

That Holy Communion dress is exactly like Jordan's wedding dress to Peter Andre.

Cheeser · 18/01/2011 21:35

Really lovely children

juneybean · 18/01/2011 21:35

I think that was Joan, she was only 22/23 or so.

missy10 · 18/01/2011 21:35

how much did those outfits cost for those 2

Cheeser · 18/01/2011 21:35

her dress weighs twice her own body weight

ohmeohmy · 18/01/2011 21:36

that's not looking too holy

EricNorthmansMistress · 18/01/2011 21:36

No, it's really annoying. I end up with eleventy nappy sacks filled with odds of crap stuffed in my suitcase pocket. Have brought some home with me before.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 18/01/2011 21:36

Joan worked in a call centre. She was lovely.
Wow, getting some tips for my DDs communion here.

travispickles · 18/01/2011 21:36

Just a quick question - how does this family afford their lifestyle? Do we know what job dad (seeing as no woman is allowed to work) does to afford to send 10 of them to Lanzarote? My OH and I are full time teachers and we are just trying to work out how they afford the lavish lifestyles.

countless · 18/01/2011 21:36

i love those kids! we may have to become catholic..

FanjolinaJolie · 18/01/2011 21:36

guess how much for the dress?

juneybean · 18/01/2011 21:37

Good grief

CaveMum · 18/01/2011 21:37

Juney, that sounds right. She was young by our standards but practically an old maid by traveller standards!

EricNorthmansMistress · 18/01/2011 21:37

The dressmaker never reveals the costs Grin Shitloads though. Travellers don't seem short of a bob or two in general...
