I'm not going to be laughing at them,I find their rituals and lifestyle utterly fascinating.

If another ethnic group chose to wear HUGE dresses and dress their bridesmaids in every colour of the rainbow then yes I'd have a laugh at them.

Plus I love the oirish accents!

I agree with Cyb, although I have to say I enjoyed the documentary, but from an academic angle. I think the attachment to 'excess' and traditional gender relations (but all topsy turvey) is interesting in its own right, without us needing to resort to sneering.
