Herrick is/was the 'leader' of the vampires in Bristol - the ones that lived/worked in the undertakers that got blown up in the last series. George (in his werewolf form) killed him, or so we thought, but right at the end of the last series, there was a shot of Cara and Daisy dripping blood onto the ground where he was buried, to reanimate him.

medicalmayhem · 18/02/2011 12:06

oh of course, thanks.

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/02/2011 10:29

finally up to date, just in time for tonights one

apprently herrick is in tonights

george spots him in the psychiatric ward and nina pretends hes her uncle and takes him back to their house

Bunbaker · 20/02/2011 10:33

According to the Radio Times it is the best episode yet. I love Being Human.

FluffyMuff · 20/02/2011 11:25

I don't think anybody answered this question - what deal did Mitchell make with the S&M couple. He set them on to the McNairs, in order for the to leave him alone. He told them where to find them but then realised George and Nina had gone to find them and couldn't call it off. I think....have slept since last week.

Just marking my place. I have found you all and my heart is all warm and gooey

I am new to my love of Mitchell, have watched every series but it's only this one where I have had an awakening to his extreme sexiness!

As for Annie/Mitchell - I agree, it doesn't work BUT I got the feeling that Mitchell isn't into either - so the awkwardness/unbelieving for the viewer is intentional on the script writers part?

I am hoping that what is seemingly a pointless side-story is going to be become much darker.....because if it doesn't and they carry on with the relationship, I'll be disappointed.

Stilla · 20/02/2011 12:03

I'm looking forward to tonights long awaited return of Herrick .

MrsFruitcake · 20/02/2011 16:14

I love Herrick. He's the best character in it IMO.

FluffyMuff · 20/02/2011 22:01

Well, that was bloody brilliant!!!

coldcomfortHeart · 20/02/2011 22:06

aargh!

FluffyMuff · 20/02/2011 22:28

Ah, I love it - I love Mitchell being an arse!

Divide and conquer!

Bloody brilliant Grin

oh no, I think he is fully aware of everything.

He knows that if he admits this, Mitchell will kill him. Then he realised Mitchell wants to know how to come back from being killed, so he's trying to turn them all against Mitchell.

He's getting his revenge by using the others.

Again, BLOODY BRILLIANT!

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/02/2011 23:58

i also think hes fully aware

medicalmayhem · 21/02/2011 11:10

mind games !! another really good episode!

Squitten · 21/02/2011 11:48

Best episode so far!! So glad Herrick is back, he's so brilliant Grin

Loving George getting tough and "Dadsy" on Mitchell's behind - I could happily look at Aiden Turner all day but Mitchell is a total arse this series!

Really glad it's picking up now

FluffyMuff · 21/02/2011 12:47

Anybody else who's never liked Nina? I can't warm to her at all. I'd hoped that she wouldn't come back....she annoys me.

coldcomfortHeart · 21/02/2011 12:49

I'm not sure he is aware of his vampirism (when he got freaked out by his lack of reflection he was alone) but he is getting stronger and stronger and he is still evil, so bit by bit he is returning to his old self- and the vampire side will come to the fore.

It was a great episode, so tense and unsettling but I missed the humour- had to laugh when Mitchell said 'George won't be my friend' though

FluffyMuff · 21/02/2011 13:13

They seem to do either brilliant dark drama or great comedy drama - they don't tend to do it in the same episode though. I think last series there was too much of the dark stuff - I got a bit bored with it. Whereas up until last night there was a bit too much comedy (the S&M couple, just odd IMO).

FluffyMuff · 21/02/2011 13:14

I forgot about the reflection thing. But he seemed to know what he was doing giving Nina the newspaper cuttings, and he was pushing George to say why he didn't like him....hmmmmmm.

Can't wait for next week!

medicalmayhem · 21/02/2011 15:11

yeah i am not a big fan of nina, dont know why, and she has a funny puddiny, old for her age, type face!

Squitten · 21/02/2011 21:40

See, I have to disagree. I think Nina is one of the best actors in it

Ripeberry · 21/02/2011 21:48

Nina is the dark horse, or even the bullet Wink

JessinAvalon · 21/02/2011 22:43

I am totally in lust with Mitchell.

I loved Aidan Turner in Desperate Romantics. Why is he so good at playing the utter bastard but manages to be completely sexy at the same time?

FluffyMuff · 21/02/2011 23:11

Squitten she's a good actor, but it's the character that annoys me - maybe it's because she's going to be the one to finish Mitchell off? Or do you not think that is a red herring they've thrown in to distract us?

mmmmm???

As for Aidan Turner, I've not seen him in anything else, I have done lots of stalking research on Google images though Grin He is fit as!

wintera · 22/02/2011 11:54

I actually really like Nina. I think her and George go together so well. At the end of the day she is in protective Mother mode, and let's not forget, Mitchell did murder a carriage full of people! It's not like he is an innocent party. Plus, I think her accent is flawless too. Couldn't believe it when I heard her real accent in an interview on tele!

Is it just me who thinks Russell Tovey is over-acting a tad this series? Don't get me wrong I have always loved George, nobody does emotion like him! But just every now and again, he forgets to reign himself in and goes over the top.
